Normally, if you use 8 devices simultaneously, it will draw about 5w power in total. We advise that it's better to use more than 3 devices for sufficient power. This 8 port kvm switch supply power by 2in1 vga usb kvm cables, no power adapter required. If you worry about insufficient power supply, you can rest assured, cuz we didn't meet this issue. Thanks!

Because it takes time for the chip in the kvm to process the signal and re-output signal, and also it takes time for the display screen to receive the signal. So it takes about 2-5 seconds in total.
