perfect toy!!

This a neat tv car that us old guys remember. Also get the Shooting Star to keep the family together.

When my brother was little he used to watch this program a lot he always likes speed racer and the car I was trying to find a larger one not that expensive but I only found this one at the present time I purchased it and had it mailed to his address he was so happy and excited. He said if I would have had this car when I was a kid I would have never graduated Elementary School. He used to get those block pink erasers and pretend that was Speed Racer it was cute

Hard to find decent Mach 5 hot wheels toys. This one is excellent, even with the faux damage. Delightful!

The car is shaped beautifly. As I imagined from watching the cartoon in my youth. The rubber tires are a nice touch and the right size. The dirt on the side adds to detail and all in all it is a fantastic rendition.The little plastic jacks really did not do much for me but no big deal.The only flaw I found was in the low hanging headlights. They were very loose, rattled and not great.However I pulled off the front tires allowing access to the back of the lights. Two drops of crazy glue to the points the plastic touches the metal body and all is well and perfect. Both lights tighten right up.
