My grandchildren play with this machine and the bubbles a whole lot and my grandchildren have never ever had any problems and they look up at them and let the bubbles hit them in the face and everything else. I don't know what might have went wrong but I'm sorry to hear that

Do you put in 8 ounces of solution when stated 1 cup of solution?

I mixed 1/3 cup bubble solution to 2/3 cup of water. It worked really well. It’s very concentrated. Hope this helps

Does this bubble solution stain clothing? I have bad experience with some brands.
