Q: Does this come with straps?

No. It’s great to lay on or have laid on your back. If it’s on top of your back, you will want some kind of weighted blanket.

Q: Does it have a cover with it or can you use it directly on your body or do you have to use a towel?

It does not have a cover for it. I recommend using a pillowcase or if it is still to cold use 2 pillowcases. If you use a towel it tends to prevent to coldness from penetrating to your muscles correctly. I hope the information helps.
