Be careful
Uhh multiple pages were falling out of the book. I mean I would touch the pages and they would fall out. I wish I bought the hard cover or maybe a more durable book.

Comes damaged, content review delayed
How many essays are written describing "The Prince"? Given leave, therefore, through clumsy copyism, I'll keep to the object, rather than greater specifics of literature:Lovely size, nice shape, good colors, fits in hands well. Good size for travel, the analogue read is, still, a thing. Glossy cover paper is well-chosen. This stock has been blemished by some sort of sticker(?), applied, then, poorly removed! THEY SHOULD SAY "SHOP WORN" or some other indication of damaged, not new condition. By cover, ought this Book be judged? The pretty hand-held, so more rare these days, even well chosen content is delivered in disgrace. Where is the honour in selling flawed copies of an old classic? A Book Is An Object: this book was never sent to me without spitting on it first, is that a review?

Must-Read for all who are governed or governing
A critique of Princes? A warning to the ruled? An instruction manual for rulers? This is a fantastic work. It objectively accounts the ways of powerful and effective governing forces, and the reader may decide why Machiavelli is telling him or her this.I highly reccomend pairing this reading with Baron de Montesquieu's "The Spirit of the Laws."

Worth the read, but don’t expect anything profound
Interesting read, but I was expecting a few more takeaways. In fairness, the expectations were derived because it was a recommendation. A bit thought provoking, but not a lot of usable things to apply to everyday life.

Thin and flimsy
I bought this version as it was one of the cheaper, yet nicer looking editions that I’ve seen. However I was a bit disappointed when it arrived and the book looks more like a thin manual than a book 😂 but as the saying goes “don’t judge a book by its cover” this is my first time reading “the prince” and so I suppose the size and quality of the book does not matter as much as what is contained within it.
