This air hockey table was fairly easy to set up, even for a woman senior citizen. The lights and auto scoring makes it feel more expensive than it is and our grandsons love playing it. The abacus scorer on each goal is in the way and both boys got scratches on their arms from reaching over it. The biggest problem, however, is shipping damage. It was dropped or slid on one corner so the plastic edging was broken. Some glue and tape fixed it because the thought of taking it apart and returning it was more than we could handle. Amazon came to the rescue and offered a discount option rather than a return! I think this product is well worth the cost even before the damage discount. Maybe beefed up packaging could reduce or eliminate shipping damage.

We bought this for our grandkids (ages 5 & 8) and put it in the garage. We all love it. The lights really add something special. We turned the garage lights off and had a "Dark Tournament". It took about 30 minutes to put together, but it was worth it. The instructions are easy and it is really obvious where each piece goes. I am not mechanically inclined, but I helped my husband and could have done it myself. Although, the entire machine is a little heavy. It is pretty sturdy once you position the legs correctly. Kids can lean into it with no problem... but I wouldn't recommend adults leaning on it hard during play. The air "floating" mechanism works great... keeps the puck moving really good. The pieces you hold in your hand light up (on/off switch) and are rechargeable (comes with a USB charger). Very nice. Has both a manual and Auto score keeper. Good deal for the money.

6 MONTH UPDATE: No more LED coolness. LED lights on table stopped working after 4 months. Switch on LED puck broke. Table still works and all other pieces still functional. Still a 4 star table, just slightly lower 4.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Coolness: 5/5. This table looks cool with the LED lights on the puck and paddles. The corners have LEDs that light up when a goal is made.Game play: 3.5/5. My biggest complaint about this table is the fan seems under-powered. The table feels slow. The table comes with 2 simple plastic pucks and an LED puck that is heavier. The air flow is too weak to keep the LED puck floating for long so after bouncing once or twice it just comes to a dead stop. The lighter pucks bounce and float better but still not as much as I'd like.Durability: 4/5. The table feels sturdy. The LED puck has a tiny switch to turn the lights on/off and it broke off within 2 days.Assembly: 4/5. Everything was in good condition and it took about 40m to assemble. The main hex bolts for the legs are easy to install. The small screws for the cross beams were a pain. The guide holes did not line up right so I just ignored them. If you have an electric screwdriver you can just spin the screws and they will eventually burrow their way in.Other: I'd also recommend buying an extension cord with a foot switch because the cord is short and there is no on/off switch. You can find one on Amazon for under $10.

This is a dreadfully made product. And when it breaks... Amazon will let you down. Takes ages to set up. And when you finally get it done, parts are faulty from Day 1. I had one delivered, and it was broken. To get a refund, I had to pack all the parts in a massive box that I had to go and buy (this thing is pretty huge). Then take to UPS. Too much time wasted for a kids' present. Then when the replacement came, I made it all the way through putting it together ... only to find that the fan doesn't work. So: no air... for an AIR hockey table. I contacted Amazon customer care, for a refund. I certainly didn't want a replacement. And I was told I would have to go through the whole process again. Break it down, put all the pieces in yet another massive box, and etc. Naturally... I decided to just burn the stupid thing, and have now begun shopping for larger items from other retailers, not Amazon. I would recommend whoever reads this review to do same. And whatever you do... do not order this specific product. It's bad.

I actually wanted a larger table, but the one I wanted was not available when I needed it. This one is pretty light weight, but is definitely adequate. I assembled it by myself in about an hour. Instructions are easy to follow, just be sure you plug the correct wire in the right hole. A power screw driver is handy. The table is what I expected. 5 stars for the price. The grandkids love playing it.

I bought these for my two grandsons for Christmas. They have yet to open it up because they are trying to sell the house. It lights up on thesides end it appears that the pucks light up as well. It seems to be a very sturdy air hockey table that they will have plenty of time playing with years to come! appears very cool but they just can’t set it up. because of the fact that they are trying to sell their house so when they do, they will put it up and I will update on how good this table is they seem to love it but the dad says they have to wait for them to move in order to put it up. it feels quite heavy because of the weight, and I think they will both enjoy it very much so
