This even beats some gaming headsets.
I use Arctis 5 as my main headset. But because I use headset for almost all the time and because of the bulkiness I needed a gaming earphone for multitasking. Thought it'd be a major downgrade from my Arctis 5 but surprisingly it's very good. The surround sound is as clear as a gaming headset, the boom mic sounds just fine. Even thought it's a gaming earphone, the bass quality in the music it's very soothing. Although I'd suggest to use an external sound card to give it the efficient power and take the best out of it.

If you're a serious gamer, you understand the importance of having the perfect gaming headphones to elevate your gaming experience to new heights. After extensive research and testing, I can confidently say that the best gaming headphones on the market are none other than SteelSeries Arctis 1. These headphones are a true game-changer, offering exceptional sound quality, comfort, and features that every gamer dreams of.Sound Quality (5/5):When it comes to gaming headphones, audio quality is paramount, and SteelSeries Arctis 1] delivers in spades. The audio is crystal clear, with deep, immersive bass that will make your games come to life. The built-in microphone in SteelSeries Arctis 1 is top-notch, delivering clear and crisp voice quality, ensuring you can coordinate with your teammates without any issues.

Love the Arctis 1. Feels premium, especially sound. Any day better than razer kraken & corsair hs35.
I just purchased this headset for my PS5 and PC, and loving it !! Very well made, it feels premium, especially for the headband—super comfortable and clear GAMING sound. Would definitely recommend and I have had many headsets over the years including razer kraken, corsair hs35.

Best for gaming
Solid built quality, most comfy...great sound quality and good microphone...best for competitive gaming. Dedicated button for microphone on/off, circle for volume control..and detachable microphone makes it user friendly. Volume is not too high..its moderate to take care for our ears so who wants very high volume dont go for it....its like volume is Preset at 90%.over all 9.5/10 rating i will give.

Do not buy. worthless product. Mic leak issue and volume is too low.
I am using this headphone for two weeks. I am facing mic leak issue and volume is too low for voice chat and competitive games where you need to hear a foot sound. I will not recommend this headphone to anyone. If you are thinking to buy it please avoid. I will request amazon please take this product back because i am not getting any option to return it.

Replacement fixed the volume.
Setting at max volume will only give a below normal hearing level. Sound is good and you can locate footsteps. But not much difference between my old redgear cosmo 7.1. The redgear actually sounded better and is a lot cheaper. You can maybe buy an additional amp and it might sound better. But for that cost you can get a good headset.Plus there is no equalizer software support in this one. Its just a stereo headphone.Edit: Changed to 2 stars cuz the replacement fixed the volume. But mic is still not good and sound is similar to cosmic byte or redgear which costs less than half of this. Running through fxsound helps a lot. Cant recommend this though. Just get a cosmic byte and run it throgh fx sound.

Decent enough
I bought this as I don't like the overhead headsets much and it does the job earlier I was using a Hyperx headset and don't expect the audio quality to be anywhere near them but it supports Windows spatial audio which is good... The boom mic is pretty good but it took me almost 1 hour to make it work... And if you're buying it for Desktops get a splitter too...
