Cityscape works great for my needs. I manual peddle most of the time, but bought another Cityscape for my wife who is starting to have a bit of arthritis. The product comes mostly assembled, but it took me about an hour to assemble what was in the box. Wife's bike had a shifter that broke during shipping, but Heybike Customer service shipped us out another one.

Saw this exact bike in retail store at twice the price. Found it on Amazon for $499 and jumped on it. Came faster than expected. I never put a bike together before, but this was easy with the instructions and video. I am really pleased with it. My daughter now wants one.

Perfect for what I am using it for. Goes a long way, comfortable, affordable. Easy to work. I would have given 4.5 stars only because it is heavier than other electric bikes that I have tried, but can’t beat it for the price.

I paid for professional assembly, and I am very glad I did. There were bearings missing in the handlebar assemblage that they had to replace. The bike is amazing to ride and very powerful. The front tire popped on my first long ride and the rear tire went flat on the 2nd. So far everything else seems high quality and so many extra features for the price. I purchased a cushy seat and can't wait to ride it again. Hopefully with the new tires I won't have any more problems. If the tires were better I would have given it 5 out of 5.

This ebike is so fun to ride. I love it!It came well packed and directions. I did watch 2 videos on YouTube to watch assembly which helped. It took less than an hour to put together. I did have a problem with the battery putting it in and I wrote Heybike and their response was good. And it was my fault I didn't have the battery properly in the slot.So the assembly was easy after was easy after watching videos. Bike rides smooth. Customer service is good. You won't be sorry with this purchase.

If you are on the fence about getting an EV - just do it! This is a great bike to start with. I’ve ridden EV when touring different cities I visit and realized for my needs I don’t need bells and whistles. So I started with a more modest bike figuring I’d work my way up but honestly, this bike is meeting all my needs and I haven’t found anything I’d like to upgrade in a bike yet.What I can promise you is that once you get an EV, you’re not likely to go back to a standard bike. Unless you like the mega hill challenge, this bike gives me the joy of ordinary town and pathway rides I seek at a speed wonderfully fast if I want it. I don’t typically change gears myself, I tend to leave it on gear 7 and just use the 1,2,3 power levels as needed.It rides like a regular bike if you opt to forego the power or run out of battery so that is comforting.Enjoy!

I greatly enjoyed this bike the first few times I used it, e-bikes in general are amazing. Sadly, after around 20 total miles of lifetime use, the battery began to malfunction. Specifically the pedal assist completely stops working when it’s needed most (e.g. on hills). The battery would still very occasionally turn back on for a few moments only to fail again shortly thereafter. After extensive troubleshooting I determined the issue was definitely the battery and not the bike itself (as another identical Heybike battery worked fine, the battery turns on as expected with lights, etc). I contacted HeyBikes customer service explaining the issue and showing that the lifetime mileage on the bike was hardly anything (roughly 25 miles- see photo attached). I purchased the bike in late November 2023 and contacted customer support early June 2025 (within 2 years). The customer service agents are now AI (the one I interacted with was named “Moss”) and I could only get a response after repeated follow ups. The responses from the customer support robots are internally contradictory, but at this point after multiple attempts, it appears that HeyBike will not replace the defective battery. Given the poor customer service, and the fact that this company will not stand by their products after such gentle use, I would not recommend purchasing this bike. You *might* be fine, or, more likely , you waste a substantial amount of time and money. The worst part of this is that Heybike doesn’t even sell replacement batteries for this model! The Cityscape model is only sold on Amazon, comes with a strict one year warranty (which apparently also applies to manufacturing defects), and all the after market batteries available cannot be returned if they too are defective.Perhaps you are thinking in reading this review that the situation is a fluke and unlikely to happen to you. Perhaps you are right. But if you encounter any problems, for instance if the bike brakes fail going downhill due to a manufacturing defect 1 year and 1 day into owning the product, just know that HeyBike will not guarantee their products in any way, and won’t even do you the courtesy of training its AI customer support robots to write coherently.All in all, this nice gift for myself and my spouse turned into a waste of money on cheap, non-durable trash. Strongly suggest steering clear of the entire Heybike line of products. Instead, choose a company willing to stand by its products.

came mostly together, I did have to put the front wheel on. ALSO I HAVE NEVER PUT A BIKE together in my life and i managed to do it with their user manual and the tools it came with were super helpful.the seat was comfy. now need to put air in the tires and super happy, will update review after few months or riding it and give my rideing experience!Awesome bike ! Make sure everything is tight . I thought the mud guard in front was bent but it was because I didn’t tighten the wheel 🛞 middle part
