Amazing little charger for the GoPro Hero 7
I am new to the GoPro Cameras and am really loving it. One thing I have not been happy about with the Hero 7 is battery life. While changing video quality to 1080 and 30fps yields me 1hr 55m, at 4k 30fps I get about 30-45 minutes at best. Even at 2 hours, for long camping outings or Kayak trips this is not enough. I found this little charger on Amazon for around $26 and figured I might as well take a chance. Sure glad I did. Works great. Using it plugged into my Mac to charge it via usb-c cable. Batteries charge pretty quickly. The Yellow Charging Light and Green Charged light are fantastic. Charger fits in the palm of your hand so very easy to through it in my small go pro case I purchased here on Amazon. If you have a GoPro Hero 7, you want this charger.!!!UPDATE 5/13/2020!!!This little charger is still amazing. Figured I would let everyone know how long it takes to charge a completely dead battery. My Charger is connected via USB to my MacBook Pro. I ran a battery in my GoPro until it was completely dead. Placed it in the charger and it took right at about 3.5 hours to get a full charge. Not bad. Might charge faster if I had the rapid end.

Good
This charger feels premium, it has no cheap look or feel. Separate LED indicator lights for each battery, yellow for charging and green for done, are easy to see from a distance and also not cheap looking. It comes with one USB cable , about a foot long, but no charger (I wish the USB cable was a bit longer but those are cheap). I used a standard iPhone charger to charge my first batteries. If you are using a typical phone charger, do not expect fast recharge times. Somewhere around 3-4 hours. This charger does however have the ability to charge twice as fast if you feed it the appropriate high wattage input. Gopro makes a "turbo" charger for this purpose that outputs 27.5 watts into this but you can also find other generic brands that accomplish the same thing. Personally I am not a fan of" blasting" batteries with electricity by charging them as fast as humanly possible, so I just go the slow way, but that's just a personal thing. It is a good option to have if needed in a pinch however. I tested the new battery and after charging I got 30 minutes of 1080p, 60 FPS, Hypersmooth footage while using 27 percent of the battery doing so, which beats my barely used original GoPro battery. Overall I am impressed with the purchase.

Don't try to save money. Go for OEM batteries & charger !
Saving money is good, and sometimes you can really find some good products on Amazon, for a low price range. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that when it comes to GoPro batteries & charger, always ALWAYS buy OEM equipment. Many of my previous 3rd party brand charger and batteries failed after a few month (sometimes a few days) of use, even becoming fire hazard at some point. That was what finally decided me to go back to the real GoPro branded gear. And since I don't regret it. This charger perform still awesomely, and the battery this kit comes with never lost its charge in the middle of an important recording, like it happened before with other brands.Included in this kit at the time of purchase was:- 1 x GoPro dual batteries charger (require an external power supply connected to the included USB-C cable for it to work. The power supply was NOT included).- 1 x GoPro rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is rated at 1220 mAh, 4.40V

doesn’t look good in a pocket
Works as discribed.Pros: fully surrounds the batteries to keep them in place so if you are charging on the go and your pack might get shaken up the batteries won’t stop charging. Well made very durable.Cons: Its Pros are also its cons. Its Bulkly, doesn’t look good in a pocket. Comparatively heavy. It can only charge two batteries at a time. And Comparatively it charges slower. Most of the after market ones charge three and charge faster. I own the FlyHi charger that comes with three charging spots. The FlyHi one also charges faster.

So far so good
In my image, the battery on the left came with my GoPro and the battery on the right was from this order. As you can see, there are some minor differences but I do believe that they are both truly GoPro batteries. The only difference on the backside is that one of them listed a website and the other didn’t.The battery did not come charged but the charger that came with it did fully charge both batteries and the new battery did work in my GoPro Hero 7 Black without issue. I haven’t used it for anything just yet so I can’t speak to the battery life compared to the original battery but if this review is not updated by 9/31/2021 (I’ll be utilizing the battery on the 25th) then it should be safe to say that the battery life is comparable.

One of the best purchase for my gopro
I fly FPV drones racing them at 80 plus miles an hour or free styling them in my yard and well i like to run a gopro to capture the footage normally 4k 30 fps or 2.7k the camera also tends to die not super fast but well it defintially doesnt last all day before buying this i would have to plug my gopro into a portable charger to be able to keep recording or call it a day which sucks when i want to fly. with this kit i can take it with me having a spare battery plugged in and charging on a portable charger while still flying i also got a third battery to have two going at once and then when the first dies i just swap it out and keep going. its great can fly all day now and fully recommend if you have a gopro
