This helmet saved my life
I had a terrible bicycle accident that left me in ICU for 3 days with internal bleeding and broken bones.I hit directly into the pavement, head first. Doctors said if I didn't have a helmet I would not have lived to tell the story.A helmet is a helmet, I suppose.... but i wouldn't be here breathing today if this thing was not on my head.

Great quality
I really like this helmet, it’s not too heavy, I got the white. I got a large based on other reviews saying medium was too small, but it is slightly large on me. Just measure your head and get the one that would fit best. I didn’t do that lol. It’s super cute and is very durable.

Runs small
It's a comfortable, versatile helmet. The size chart is wrong, though. Add 4cm to your size because the helmet runs small. The one I bought fit my girlfriend perfectly. It just looks like a top hat on me.

This helmet helped my son walk away after going over the bars
Thanks, Retrospec helmet company! Yesterday, my son had a bad crash while descending a steep hill in the city. He went over the handle bars while traveling about 10 - 12 mph and landed on his head... hard. He was wearing this helmet, the Retrospec Dakota, and landed on the front right of the helmet. He walked away from this crash and checked out fine after a trip to the ER. The helmet sustained a few scratches and chips in the shell and a hairline fracture in the interior Styrofoam lining. We are purchasing another, of course. This helmet did the job and helped my son walk away. Thanks, Retrospec! (A lifetime fan, now).

Strong helmet
I'm going to be honest. I bought 2 of these helmets specifically for tornado protection. I have them in my living room, ready to grab in case of a tornado in my area. I tried mine on and it fits well enough. I know these are meant for other reasons, so I don't know if my review will help. But I feel like it will help me not get my head smashed if my roof falls on me.
