My 2 year old always clenches his jaw and will not let me brush his teeth. This fits nicely around his teeth and feels like a novelty whilst cleaning.I wouldn't say this is for an older child. My daughter is 5 and although she loves using this I found it didn't clean her teeth properly so I had to go over it with her usual toothbrush. The brisles are silicone so do not provide a proper scrub.

brushing my two year olds teeth is like wrestling a Rottweiler but these are so easy to use and give a thorough clean, when i finish i let him do it himself and hes more than happy to brush. i put my finger inside the hole in the middle and swing it from side to side and all the plaque has gone i cant recommend these enough theyre so cheap too!

I brought these for my 1 1/2 year old, we had already started using a normal toothbrush but from birth I think they would be good!

I don't know how this item can have so many high reviews. Absolutely useless as a toothbrush. I have a 12-month-old boy and a 6-year-old girl, and while it did do a MILDLY decent job at cleaning my boy's four little teeth, it did absolutely nothing for my older daughter's teeth, despite claiming to be for 2-6 years.The rubber 'bristles' were an ok size for his teeth, but were overall too small and soft to really clean either of their teeth to a satisfactory level. The 'brush' head itself was the perfect size for his mouth, but entirely too small for hers, even though she's extremely petite for her age (she's 6 and still wears size 4-5, sometimes 3-4 clothes).I'd recommend looking elsewhere for this type of brush, as this brand doesn't fit the bill. Or maybe even stick to traditional-style brushes.

Kids love these and use them !

Initially the item came packaged well. However after my child used this for a couple hours on and off (getting used to the brush in mouth and moving it round), the rubber mouth piece came away from the plastic handle. Not safe for toddler. A good idea, but the product is poorly constructed.
