I ordered these because the company that makes the Cal/Mag 1:1 that I WAS happily using suddently stopped making it for some reason (Metabolic Maintenance). So I ordered these because my naturopath wants me to take the 1:1 because I have osteoporosis and she recommends this. Compared to the capsules in the other brand these pills are HUGE. Fortunately I don't really have a problem swallowing pills but these are almost difficult for me. I realize they have Vit C in them and the other brand didn't which could account for the size difference. I'm happy that this brand includes Boron as well as Zinc; many Cal/Mag supplements don't. One BIG complaint though is that the tablets don't seem very stable, they actually get sticky in my pill organizer after only a few days which is annoying, almost like they are beginning to break down. I use a pill organizer because I don't want a kitchen counter full of bottles and the stickiness makes me wonder about the integrity of the tablet. But this is the only thing out there with what I need so....Wish they would make them in capsule form like Metabolic Maintenance did. I'm wondering if the company is aware of this; none of my other supplements do this but most are in capsule form.

I will never understand how companies tote health and then put unnecessary harmful ingredients in the product even if it’s just the capsule- why?

This is my experience with the product! For about 3 weeks I was having an issue with bowel leakage (GROSS)through out the day! That has never been an issue! I realized that I was using this product for that long and it was not agreeing with me!

I am used to taking large capsules and tablets, all the time. Some are smooth textured and others are rough textured, some taste fine, others taste horrid, however these being so large, so rough, and so nasty tasting, they proved to be a challenge for me to swallow.I got these stuck in my throat twice! I took them one at a time, but still got two stuck, on separate occasions! One of them almost caused me to choke, while the other just made my throat sore the next day. These were the scariest tablets to swallow that I have ever taken before.Another thing that concerns me is that you have to take 4 of these tablets daily to get the full dosage. It says to divide them with meals, but all 4 of the tablets only have a total of 38% calcium! The title of the product is Complete Calcium & Magnesium, but 38% calcium doesn't seem like complete calcium to me.This product needs to be redone! There are plenty of calcium supplements out there that do a much better job at delivering calcium and magnesium. Personally, I need more than the 38% of calcium that this supplement supply's, so I will not be purchasing these again. As it was, I had to take additional calcium with this product, so if I can take other products that boast more calcium and a smaller caplet, then I'm going to take those over this one any day!I cannot recommend these as they are not only a choking hazard, but they don't contain enough calcium.
