THERMOS Stainless King Vacuum-Insulated Travel Mug, 16 Ounce, Matte Stainless Steel

I received and used this Thermos cup today. First impressions are that it is definitely 5-star quality. I chose it for the the graceful design and the size. I’ve had Yeti, but they are often too bulky for my taste. I also liked the color selections and chose the midnight blue. It’s a really nice rich color. The finish has a deep hue and a high quality feel.At 14 oz, this is a perfect size for commuting or traveling. I had some concern about how long this one would keep coffee hot because I’m a sipper and a cup can last me for three hours or more. I rarely finish a cup that is actually warm unless it is left on a warmer.I prefer a handle when and the open end of the handle makes it eqsy to hang the cup on something if my hands are full The cap is designed really well, and when closed the cup can’t leak even when the coffee is hot. It appears that hot coffee will exert extra pressure on the inside causing the inner seal ro press more tightly. That’s a nice feature. The cap opens with a lever that makes it easy to open or close the lid withjout using two hands. Also you can drink coffee from either side of the mug, i.e., left or right handed. Actually, I was wondering if the lever would bump against my nose, but it is designed to be off to the side when open. With the lid is in the open, it let’s a reasonable amount of coffee through, but with any care at all, you won’t be likely to burn yourself because it's easy to regulate the amount coming into the “sipping tray” part of the lid.So the first test: I made coffee at 1 PM and an hour later, the coffee was still remarkably hot. Rather than test the long-term holding power, I decided to leave the lid open to see how quickly tmy coffee would cool. What a surprise: I finished the coffee at 6 pm and it was still a very pleasant drinking temperature. Five hours is better than my Ember cup by far! Finally, when I came home s disassembled the lid to wash it and it was very easy and intuitive.Honestly, for the money, I’d say it is the best hot cup I've purchased, and I’ve gone through quite a few. Definitely would recommend it.

Perfect size for daily use. My drink stays hot for hours, exactly as promised. The quality feels solid, and the lid seals well. Great for coffee on the go. Love the midnight blue color too!

This travel mug keeps my coffee hot for hours, which is awesome for long drives. It fits perfectly in my car’s cup holder and doesn’t wobble around. The handle makes it super easy to grab without spilling anything. The lid seals well and doesn’t leak, even when the mug tips a bit. Solid build quality and easy to clean. It’s become part of my daily routine without any fuss.

This mug keeps drinks so hot for a long period of time and I am very impressed and this is way better than any Yetti I have ever had. The lid is good and holds liquid in without spills. Also this hold around 14 to 16 oz so very big even though it looks small. Only small thing is the o- ring gets dirty easy and is a little hard to clean.

This is about the 6th exact item that I've purchased. Each one has been a great product, but after everyday use, I eventually wear them out or scuff them up enough that I buy a new one. They do last, as I could probably hold onto the older ones, as they still function properly and do not leak. Performance wise, the keep my coffee hot all morning long. I leave the house at 430 am, and if any coffee is still left, it's still hot by noon. That's quite impressive. What's equally impressive is I've never had a leak. It's easy to clean, and it looks nice as well. My only complaint, and others have mentioned it, as you crank the lid tight, the drink hole does not line up in a 90 degree ergonomic line with the handle, so as you're grasping the handle and pouring it into your mouth, you're not lined up the way that a mug or cup was mean to be. Sure it's just a matter of adjusting your mouth or your grip, but with a mug of this cost, by a company as reputable as Thermos, I expect a little better. This issue has been reviewed on here for years, and this is a new mug and the issue is still there. It's minor. I'll still buy the product, but it's the difference between a 3 & 4 star product, and a 5 star product. This could be a 5 star product, if they'd just fix that issue.

Best travel mug I've ever had. Keeps coffee hot for hours. In fact, when filling it for use all day I let it cool down a bit before putting the lid on on I don't burn my lips or tongue later!I filled it up for a long road trip and sipped it all day long, after 9 hours on the road, with the mug sitting in front of a vent blowing cooler air on it, it was still acceptably warm to drink at the end!Haven't used it for cold, but it should work well. The mug fits in most cup holders well, although the handle sticks down pretty far, I have to rotate it to clear the side in a few.The lid goes on securely and will not leak. Read a complaint that the opening wasn't oriented properly when putting the lid on... HOWEVER, I found that when screwing the lid on, you have it set to open as it seals so well you'll be fighting it. Cleans up easily and is the best stainless steel thermos I've used... actually, have a Thermos brand bottle that didn't keep my coffee as hot as this mug!The only way this could be better is if the handle had a closed loop and didn't extend down as far. Then it would fit any cupholder and one could hook the handle to a carabiner or case for easy carrying, especially since it will NOT leak when closed if the lid is properly tightened.

There is not anything "cheaply" made about this item. The drinking spout is the best I have ever had ... no dripping or scalding coffee coming at you in a torrent. Some engineer really took the time to come up with an ingeniously made lid. Also, it would seem to fit any cup holder.Would definitely recommend getting the Thermos that has the handle.So glad I bought this one ... threw my other one away.This is the Cadillac of insulated mugs!!
