This tape exceeds my expectations at both being tape and glowing.It's a very robust fabric tape with a grippy, matte surface. It sticks very strongly, yet removes without leaving residue and did not harm the wooden surface I applied it to (though we'll see if this remains true over the long term).The glow is initially very bright when it's been charged under a bright light for a few minutes. Almost too bright. But the super brightness fades to a more sedate level over the first 2-3 minutes, and then it maintains a low glow for many hours. I used the tape to mark the corners of furniture in my baby's room so I wouldn't stumble in the dark. It works perfectly for this purpose. In the dark room, the glow remains visible all through the night.I will definitely buy more Gaffer Power tapes for other purposes in the future.

Where has this been all my life?? I originally was trying to find neon washi tape to decorate picture frames but none of them were actually neon. I decided to take a chance and see what this stuff was like and it was a GREAT decision and worth the money. You get a lot of tape and it is vibrant, bright and actually sticks and removes when you need it to. I had to adjust it several times trying to make sure I made it as straight as possible on the frames and it still stuck wonderfully after all that. It's a great way to experiment with colors without permanently changing frames/furniture/etc. If only they made it in every color and pattern under the sun!

This stuff is way better than the vinyl stuff with backing that has to be removed. Easy to tear off amp apply. Easy to write on. Easy to remove. Just great.

Not sure what I was expecting I guess. It definitely glows in pitch black, so maybe it's helping me see it in a sort of dark room. It's hard to tell if it's not dark enough that it's glowing.This brand makes good gaff tape so at a minimum it's decent white gaff tape that was a little pricey.

i have nothing but good things to say about these tapes. i'm a professional videographer and use them frequently. i travel a lot so the size is great. they can be stored so easily in pockets/bags/cases.eventually you realize that you can do a lot with 1" wide rolls and don't need the bulky 2" wide rolls for most tasks. great when you're doing smaller jobs and don't need a lot of equipment.i use them around the house too. once you start using grip tape you don't go back.i use black, gray, and white. the white rolls are great for marking on too.i realized one of the best uses for these smaller rolls has been to give them as a gift to someone on set. if they've seen you use them and inquire about the 1" width tell them how convenient they are then hand them the roll.they'll remember that when you have to carry 15 sandbags.

Gaffer tape is hard to find and usually quite expensive when you find it. I ordered this via Amazon Prime and it arrived at my home on the same day that I placed my order! (Chicago suburbs, free shipping, too!). It also was quite a bit less expensive and higher in quality than the gaffer tape that I usually have found at art supply stores. I won't get it from art supply stores any more!Gaffer tape is great stuff as it is very easy to work with, and most importantly, doesn't leave a sticky residue when you take it up. It tears easily and straight without any scissors or knives, too.I use it for a lot of different things but my favorite has been to seal the perimeters around window air conditioners. It works perfectly for that purpose and the white tape blends right in with the white windows so you don't even notice it's there. (It's available in other colors, too). When I remove the air conditioners, there won't be a sticky tape residue left behind and it doesn't damage the window frames.Another common use for gaffer tape is to tape down electrical cords to the floor so people don't trip on them. It's the perfect solution for that as it, again, won't leave a sticky residue when it's removed.

I'm short and use a long, four inch high step-exercise stool when I prepare meals. I bought the white to put around the edge of the dark stool so that I won't trip over it when I'm going back and forth between the island and the stove, etc. This tape comes off without leaving any sticky substance behind. When the tape on my cooking stool becomes soiled I will just put on some new tape, and this roll has a lot of tape on it. I also put strips of it on the edge of the three steps up into my hallway so I can see them at night. This tape is not the reflective kind, but it is bright white and does the job. I think my cat needs a stripe of it down her back because I do trip over her, haha.

I have put this glow tape on all my TV-related remotes--cable, the TV itself, Roku, etc--because all of them are black plastic and, when I watch TV in a darkened room and one of the remotes falls off the sofa and ends up on the dark rug or under the sofa, they can be very hard to find. Without making any special effort to expose the tape on the remotes to light during the day--although they were in a room with overhead and natural light--the tape was bright enough at night to easily see in the dark room and remained visibly glowing all night. I highly recommend this glow tape.

False advertising. It glows in the dark, but it's not gaffer tape, not even slightly.
