It Works...With caveats
I live in a rural setting with mesquite trees in my yard. Constant punctures of my riding mower tires from mesquite thorns are a fact of life. Taking a flat in for repair every time a puncture occurs is not an option. In the first place, it would be a constant inconvenience requiring a repair at least every time the mower is used. Second, the tires would have to be quickly replaced with full tread depth given the frequency of punctures.Tire-Ject offers a possible alternative to other unacceptable tire sealant options such as Slime, et al. Tire-ject is a water-soluble, rubber-based material that contains kevlar fibers and rubber particles. (Shake well before using.) As the tire rotates, a puddle of Tire-Ject with the fibers and particles remains at the bottom of the tire. With every revolution of the wheel, any existing or new puncture has Tire-Ject fibers/particles forced into the puncture by tire pressure, and the fibers/particles are cemented in place by the rubber solution. When Tire-Ject dries out, it drys to a blue rubber film that is easy to clean up. Eventually it will dry out in the tire, and that is why they say your tire(s) will eventually have to be retreated. The manufacturer makes some expansive claims, but so far I haven't seen any failure to meet expectations. For my purposes, it seems to working perfectly. For example, they claim it will seal a 3/8" inch puncture. Maybe it will, maybe it won't seal one 3/8" puncture, but I do know from experience that if you have numerous 1/8"-3/16" punctures, as from plug installations, you'll likely have to replace the tire.If you have a old tire that has maybe two dozen small punctures from past use, say mesquite thorns or 8d nails, Tire-Ject should stop all those leaks. You will need to install Tire-Ject in new tires, or clean the inside of any used tires that have been treated with Slime or other sealants. Remove any puncturing items, but install no plugs. You will get minor leakage from the punctures during the install, but eventually those leaks will seal. If you have 15 LARGE (1/8"-3/16") punctures, then all the sealant is going to leak out of those holes before they seal. Your tire won't hold air, and it is toast.Tire-Ject claims in one citation that you can go for two years without retreatment with no new punctures. In another citation, they hedge their bets to one year. One year, two years, I don't care. I'm going to run the tires with Tire-Ject until they begin to lose air, then I'll treat them again. Tire-Ject is pricey, but it appears to solve my mower's flat-tire problem. I tried tubes inside tubeless tires to contain the mess when using Slime; the Slime liquified, leaked out of the tube into the tire, and then out of the valve stem hole. BIG FREAKIN' MESS! I can't see that happening with Tire-Ject...it's already an ultra-thin liquid.

UPDATE 1 YR LATER Skeptic turned impressed consumer, 5 star effectiveness, made in USA to boot
One year later, tires hold air and do not leak. Fantastic product.===================I was skeptical about this product--cost, effectiveness, ease of use. I am proved wrong by my experience. For over 6 months, I have had to add air every few days to the front tires of my riding lawn mower--"15 x 6.00 - 6" turfers. I took one off and immersed it in water, finding at least 3 different small air leaks.I considered buying inner tubes, generic tire sealant inflator and even new tires (these are OEM tires ~ 17 years old. After studying to the extent possible on TireJect, I bought it.It has now been 3 1/2 days since injecting the tires and they are full of air.I always go out of my way to purchase American-made products even at a price premium, and, I'm glad to say this also meets that desire.Highly recommended.

This product is definitely worth the money! Easy to use.
I had a dry rotted sidewall leak on the front tire of my dixie chopper mower. I tried to repair it with 16 oz of slime. It did not work I added a few more ounces of slime and it was still just bubbling through the side wall. Then I bought tireject sealant. I took the tire off the wheel and cleaned it out. Which was a terrible job! Slime is a mess! I hosed out the inside of the tire and let it dry. According to the directions I received with my tireject I remounted the tire, aired it up reseated the beads. I then took the valve core out and used my syringe to add 5oz of tireject to the tire and inflated it. At first I did not think it was going to seal the leak because it bubbled slightly through the sidewall for several minutes similar to the slime. The next morning when I checked the tire had lost 2 lbs of air and was no longer leaking air through the side wall. It has now been three weeks since I repaired the tire and it has not lost any additional air. The tireject has repaired my dry rotted tire!!! and I believe it is going to last for a long time to come. This product was pricey until you consider that I received enough tireject to complete this repair eight times over. It is also packaged in nice individual pouches that should let it have an extremely long shelf life. I also like the directions for use that were included. And the tool kit and valve stem caps which were also included. This is a very high quality product. I highly recommend it and do not intend on using slime ever again. I also don't intend on buying any new tires for my Dixie chopper for many many years. Thank you to the people at tireject. They also have excellent customer service! I emailed them about using this product in conjunction with slime before I purchased it and they emailed me back with an answer. Their answer was to clean the slime out of the tire wash it out with water let it dry and then use the tireject product. I did so and it worked perfectly!!

Not 10oz per vab, more like 8-9oz per bag.
I just finished installing this in my new riding mower tires. Time will tell if it works as advertised. My two gripes are concerning the true volume of product and the instructions. First either there is not 10 Oz in each bag or the syringe is not marked correctly. I clamped the hose right at the point of the syringe and filled it to 5oz. Injected the tire and reclamped to add second 5oz to get the total of 10oz for my rear tires. The second filling of the syringe only gave me 3oz or 8 total Oz in a 10 Oz bag. Thus was the case for all three 10oz bags of product I bought. Instead of 30oz, I only got 24 which is not right. I measured the syringe and it takes 6.2oz to fill it to the 5oz mark. Come on guys, who sells a product that is this far from correct when it gets to the consumer. I may end up loving the product but in the future I will be much more careful about how I measure it. Qa should actually measure a few bags and see if I am right.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!
This kit is perfect for a lawn tractor. What's more, it works EXACTLY as advertised! I saw it recommended by a YouTuber (sixtyfiveford, if you want to know) and he has a lot of common sense stuff. Having had mixed experiences with other products I wasn't sure. Long story short: it worked PERFECTLY!The long story: I had a fast sidewall leak on a rear tire and a slow leak on a small front tire that I couldn't find. Now, I know you aren't supposed to plug sidewalls, but this is a lawn tractor and it's what i had on hand that day. After several seasons, the plug began to leak so quickly I'd have to refill my tire several times each mow. It was that level of suffering that had me shopping for a whole new set of tires. When the tires I had put in my wishlist procrastinating were no longer available, I decided to take the chance half convinced that I was just throwing money away. When I got the product I split one pouch between the front two tires and put the remaining two in the rears. I did this just to use the kit, even though two of my tires were still holding air, dryrotted as they were. Upon first filling the fast leaking rear, the sealant began to spit and spray out of the leaking plug. It didn't seem to be sealing at all. But on faith, I followed the instructions and drove the tractor around the yard. More and more sealant spilled out as the tire began to deflate. I went ahead and refilled the tire and drove some more. Sure enough, no more sealant was coming out of the tire. I set the pressures on all four tires...and that was over a month ago! This product "stays active" and is supposed to seal new punctures as well, but even if it didn't it has already been worth it. If you are like me and wondering if you should get some, I'd say just do it! You will be SO GLAD you did!
