With our house being old with no cavity wall insulation etc, especially our bedroom where last winter we had bad condensation mould we had to keep under control.Decided to try this heater in our room and what a difference!We have had this heater in our room on number 1 and the dial turned on to below a quarter of the way round. It's been on day and night continuously for 2.5 weeks and the electric it used added just under 200kwh in that time frame. 200 divide by 16days is 12.5 kwh per 24 hrs. 12.5 x 26p per kwh hr = £3.25 x 16 days = £52, but with no recurring condensation mould in our room so far, this setting keeps the room at around 17 degrees which is comfortable for sleeping and no damp cold air to breath as one of us has long covid! And both have Asthma.We got one each for the other bedrooms so the rest of the family keep warm.Disclaimer on my calculations:these are my approximate usage calculations based on my fuel provider and the difference between the previous months household usage and the current month with this heater. I did this for my own interest and I do not make ANY claim or suggestion that these costings will apply to you, the reader of this review or anyone else who buys this product or one similar to it!!!!

Works effectively. Takes some time to heat up but once hot, its strong. Easy to move around. But produces heavy rattling noise sometimes.

I like that you can programme 4 different time periods to come on and off.
