Wish I bought this years ago...
I took a chance on this item and I am glad I did. I was tired of using the round files that take forever to sharpen my blades and needed something that would work without taking up a lot of time. I sharpened the dull blade on my saw and could immediately feel the difference in how it felt verses the round file sharpening. I was able to keep a good angle on the blade and the teeth sure felt sharp. The litmus test was working on my lot cutting down dead black spruce trees (which dull your chain with just a few trees). I went through dropping, limbing and cutting stove lengths no problem with the old blade that I sharpened. When the chain felt like it was cutting slow, I just quickly re sharpened it and went back to work. No problem, no wasted time, nice and sharp.Pros: Worked as stated, adjustable motor speed, sturdy storage box for the tool. Came with a few bits and wrenches.Cons: Sharpening bits will last for two sharpening cycles then are junk. Good thing they are cheap and disposable.Recommendations: As the tool comes with three different sizes of bits, figure out which one fits your saw blade the best then order a bunch more to have on hand.I was so pleased at how well the sharpening process was, how well it worked in the field and how much better it made my afternoon that I bought another kit for a gift to give away.

Save on expense of chain sharpening
Good product, but should include a straight file and file guide to complete a sharpening. This product is easy to use. I am not a handyman or a tool guy but I would recommend this product if you use a chainsaw for five times per year.

Life is short, enjoy the process!
If sharpening your chainsaw was a pain with a hand file this tool is a must have. I could never get my chains sharp enough with a hand file and after years of frustration I finally decided to look into an electric sharpener. I need to mention I'm not using my chainsaw for cutting fire wood, more when storms blow down trees on my property and so forth. This is also a great tool box filler as it is also a standard dremel as well. I could assume if you already had a dremel, you could just source the bit for a chain saw blades and save yourself a few dollars. The angle gauge is a nice add on an helps you maintain the same angle while sharpening and is also removable. All and all I enjoy this tool so far and have used it about ten times. Saying that, I can't yet tell you how long the bits last as they have mixed reviews. Came with a set of replacement brushes for the motor, extra bits and a wrench to change out bits. For the price its a solid add on for my chain saw kit.

Works really well
This thing worked way better than I expected. I usually use files but I had a lot of chains come in at once. Has everything you need. Works way better than the last electric sharpener I had years ago. Makes the chain sharper than with a file I think and fast.

It’s just a big Demmel tool.
If you already have a Dremmel tool, just buy a diamond bit in the correct size for your chain. The alignment guide is just a visual gauge. You do all the work. You position the tool/gauge while trying to parallel the line on the tool to your bar. There is no hard contact between the tool and saw to hold the angle.

Easy to use and good to grip
It works well, but the bits were pretty but didn't seem to last long. I only used 1 bit on a small 8 inch chain. It may be due to my inexperience. So I will order more bits and continue to use it.
