Very good book!

For starters to intermediates!
If you're a beginner in professional photography, invest in this book. Its worth more than any YouTube tutorial. However if you're already a professional, the second half of this book is what you would be needing. Either way its a great book to gain more understanding in photography. National Geographic really did a great job!

Brilliant
Brilliant book for those new to photography .. as others have mentioned, doesnt go into too much technical detail.. paper quality and presentation is absolute top-notch, as youd expect from National Geographic .. author is a photographer for NG

A Book Printed in China
A very basic book which teaches you what is a camera and what is a tripod at the beginning.Later is shows how to play with lights.Expected more from NatGeo.No worth if already taking pictures.Guess what it says in Production Description as country of origin as USA but printed in China.
