I’ve colored my hair at home for years and this product is easy to use and does the job beautifully. You can apply it just your roots or, like I do, cover all your hair.Instructions are easy and you just leave it on for 30 minutes, then wash it out.The color turns out shiny and your hair feels soft and vibrant! 5 stars!

I would appreciate if Amazon would approve my review as it is a true account of my experience with using Wella hair dye after having a hair disaster with another brand.Wella saved my hair after I used Age hair dye. That brand’s hair dye left my hair with orange roots (see the photos). I called that brand (Age) and they were no help in fixing the mess I was left with. My hair looked absolutely crazy with orange roots and blackish-brown hair.I was about to have to spend a few hundred dollars to fix the nightmare I was left with. I used Wella and my results are so much better. No more orange roots and my hair looks so much better. Thank you Wella for quality hair products!!!

Used with the Wella developer pictured. Love the ability to save money and even reduce a little packaging waste.Very much not a professional but I find it is easy to use. I used a Pyrex measuring cup to measure and mix and wore kitchen nitrile gloves to apply. Have also used a plastic condiment/sauce bottle with measuring marks which works great- gives the little tip to control flow.Applied on hair that was colored a brighter red- hair pulls red on its own so I’m sure that affects the color.
