Best pen imaginable within 5 times its price point
There is, quite simply, no pen at this price point that can touch the quality of this pen. It is well made, solid, comfortable, writes well, doesn’t smear for us lefties, and is a great weight. I also love the narrow profile. I’ve tried many $50 to $100 pens, including a much of bolt actions and this pen is my favorite. Plus, at $10, you don’t have to stress about losing it. Is there anything I don’t like? Maybe one thing. The refill doesn’t last terribly long.

Great quality, solid, and hefty pen!! Zebra rules!
Amazing pen! Has a great feel and a good amount of heft to it! Really feels like a quality pen especially for the price. I'm a sucker for all things Zebra. Writes incredibly smooth, cam with 2 refills, one black and one blue, including a little blue ring you can screw on with the barrel to indicate what color the ink is that you are using. I'm a pen geek and I love this pen.

The best pen I have ever owned
I can't believe I am excited about a pen, but this pen is flipping amazing. I always loved Zebra gel pens because the ink dries incredibly fast. This pen goes beyond the normal Zebra pens with the all-metal, black barrel. It looks sharp. There is plenty of grip, the clip is firm as stays in a pocket where it belongs, and it has a slightly heftier weight about it that does not impede on writing. If I had my druthers, the click of the pen would have a tiny hair more of resistance. I will never change to another pen in my life.

A pen that almost checks all the boxes
(PHOTO: My pen with the click button replaced)This is a very nice pen overall. The gel ink is a highlight and it's my favorite pen to write with for that reason. The gel ink leaves a consistent and smooth line. The pen is weighted heavily to the tip which I like. I would appreciate just a touch more balance, but the brass barrel may be an obstacle to that. The barrel is super nice to hold and in writing position the weighting feels good. The clip is sturdy and almost tough to get off anything I clip it on which is awesome. Everyone I work with loves using this pen. Unfortunately I have found this pen to be lacking in build quality compared to Zebra's F-701. My issues with this pen specifically are regarding the clicker on top. It was very loose when protruding from the pen and had much more wobble than is acceptable for me. After about a week and a half of use I dropped this pen to the floor for the first time and the click button completely broke off the pen, making it unusable. I'm not sure if I received a defective product but I will not be buying another since I've managed to make a repair using a part from a papermate inkjoy 300RT (The best budget pen IMO). The finish will almost certainly wear off of this pen, revealing the color of the brass beneath it. Not an issue for me, but good info for some. Overall I love this pen even despite the difficulties and I would have bought a new one had I not managed to fix it.

Well designed, fine writing instrument, all metal construction, durable, with lifetime warranty.
This Zebra Gel Ink Pen is my companion to the Zebra F701 Ball Point Pen and use it exclusively to write checks and important documentation where signature is required. Gel Ink is favored above other inks to help prevent fraud and other nefarious acts. Although value priced well below "famous make" pens as Parker and Cross (now imported from Europe or Asia- no longer made in the U.S.A.), it comes with a truly "Unconditional Lifetime Warranty," and any problem with the pen is sent along with a short note explaining the difficulty to: Zebra Pen Corp.- Customer Service Dept.- 242 Raritan Center Parkway- Edison, NJ 08837-7170 and a brand new replacement is sent without question. In over 20 years of hard use, I've only had to use the warranty twice. With experience with Gel Ink- no matter the make/brand, the ink is rapidly consumed - unlike the ball point pen inks. Therefore, I always have reserve refills for both the Zebra - Gel Ink and Ball Pen Inkpens in the brief case, office and living quarters. The only difficulty is when "borrowed," is usually never returned except when closely supervised/guarded. Fortunately Zebra Pens are value priced and not a financial concern, only loss of use and utility, plus a loss of trust in the "borrower."These pens are my every day carry units and with a refill using a plastic barrel, the exact amount of ink is displayed and never have I ran out of ink. With Amazon's value pricing -including the replacement refills, they are both very well below that of the MSRP, and a bargain in this person's opinion. These items are even priced well below that of the "big office supply stores."Overall it is a Superior Pen with quality built in along with an exceptional warranty. Try it and you will bepleasantly surprised.
