I absolutely adore the Midori notebook! The design is super cute and the quality is top-notch. The paper is smooth, and it handles various pens without bleeding through. It's perfect for journaling or taking notes. The size is just right, and the cover is durable but still stylish. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves adorable stationery!

This is so cute! The illustrated pages are lovely and whimsical and the journal is nicely put together. Smaller everyday entries are perfect for no pressure journaling!

The illustrations in this journal are adorable and I love that there are two entries on each page. Each entry is seven lines long, but the start of the top line includes a date space (separated by paws!) so you treat it as a topper line and just count six. The paper is just as fountain-pen friendly as Midori paper usually is, although the cream colored pages will affect ink color. I recommend this for anybody who wants to journal and doesn't know how to fill a page or who wants just a small area to record daily affirmations, gratitude, a sentence a day, or something similar.

I purchased this to get back into the habit of journaling by not overwhelming myself with feeling like I need to write full pages every day. I really like the room for the daily entries because I got it with the intention of it being a focused journal for me, but my ball point pen bleeds through the paper and the line spacing is a little too wide for my personal taste. I still like the brand, but after this focused diary I will move try the lengthier yearly diaries. Still very cute and serves it’s purpose if you want a travel friendly and/or focused little journal.
