Q: Would they work for pocketbook/purse storage ?

You could store anything light like a purse in it. They don’t stack very well. The tops aren’t supported, it’s just fabric that zips around. If was on the floor you could put anything in it but if taking off a shelf I wouldn’t put anything really heavy, it won’t support it.

I don’t see why not mind is in a closet and still quite new
