Q: Is this Safe on car windows?

It comes stocked with a carbon steel blade. Make sure you switch it out to a stainless steel blade less likely to scratch the glass if you are doing window tinting. Always snap to a new blade as well to avoid scratching the glass. It is a great tool to work with. Also stores more than one blade for quick change.

Q: Would this work for cutting 3" fiberglass insulation?

I think that’s a bit heavy duty for this handle. This handle is better for detailed cutting. For what you are doing I would use a heavier duty blade holder.

Yes, NT Cutter 30 degree blade replacements are available on Amazon 50 pack.

Yes, it comes with 2 full length snap off blades, I ordered additional blades with mine. This is my very favorite knife in my studio, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
