Q: would these work for cutting off screw heads? i don't have a Dremel and the area is too tight for a hack saw.

In short yes. But expect a shorter blade life. I used them to cut aluminum windows out of my house. They worked very well.

This blade use for soft metal,aluminum and wood,for PVC too.
