not what i ordered
i thought i was ordering a tinted stain was supposed to be tinted white oak all i got was a beat up rusty can of white tint thatcost me forty dollars for nothing

Just what I was looking for!
White oak stain is not easy to find. I like to see the grain of the wood, but I also like a very light finish on my wood furniture - dust and fingerprints are not as easy to see when the finish is light. I've been pleased with the quality of Minwax white oak wood stain.

Opaque and white no grain
This is a white paint. It doesn't stain anything at all and is completely opaque. I ordered this for a project that's got the grain burned into the wood. Along with some blue tint. The idea was for the finished piece to be blue and burned. This stain mixed well with the dye but then it completely covered the burned parts so you couldn't see the hours of work that went into the piece.

The pictured item is for White Oak Stain. READ THE DESCRIPTION. You will receive WHITE TINT BASE. I am very very very very unhappy - You will NOT receive White Oak Stain.I needed this TODAY, which is why I ordered it. I am angry beyond belief. I even read the other review stating that the wrong item was sent. I double checked the product details which clearly state "White Stain." This is not white stain. This can't be used.AND, you cannot return the item either. Don't buy this and maybe, just maybe Amazon will put a correct photo and description with the product.
