Q: will this work on a lawn mower? or to much fuel input ?

I use mine on a Golf Cart with a small gas engine . the pump works very well

Use a fuse size to protect the wires, the wire size need to be at least large enough to carry the amperes needed by the pump.

Q: Will this work on a 235 in line 6 cylinder?

No, this is an in line fuel pump that works in many applications but not for a Chevy 235. You might check out the Airtex 4149 Fuel Pump instead!
