Extremely Well Built Knife
I love Spyderco and the Manix 2 in particular. I have the Manix 2 in s30v and really wanted to get this one in s110v. I found this one and it was 10 dollars or so cheaper than on bladehq or knivecenter or anywhere else. I was worried maybe it would have defects or something but it definitely did not. It arrived fast, in about 3 days and is every bit of a quality knife as my other Manix 2. It came out of the box with what might be the sharpest edge I have ever experienced. I hand sharpen knives as a hobby and know what a sharp knife is. This was impressive! The only gripe I have at all is that the ball bearing lock sticks a little bit when opening it. I have never had that problem with any other Spyderco knifes. I am sure that it will wear in and be fine. Or I can oil it. It is not even that noticeable and doesn't take away from the knife at all. It operates perfectly and has a good weight to it. It is not a super light knife; this is a heavy-duty well-built quality knife. The s110v has superb edge retention but can be brittle so it is not for battoning or anything like that. Great, great knife and I am very happy and would definitely recommend.

Nice first glance- edited after hard use
My first impression of this knife is good.I recently lost a Paramilitary 2 in the same s110v blurple configuration. Being (seriously) heartbroken, I waited a month, at first looking frantically, then decided to replace it. I settled on this out of curiosity. I loved my pm 2 so much, but when I bought it I was stuck between it and this at the time. So this go around I chose this Manix 2 in S110v.The action is smooth, the handling of this knife also seems very nice. Heavier than the pm2 and slightly fatter when closed, it takes up some pocket room but nothing I myself can’t get used to. Bear in mind, I own 5 acres of land that I recently bought. It was vacant for 2 years and was abused badly before that. I bought this knife to USE HARD EVERY DAY not baby or just use for boxes... for me it isn’t jewelry. It seems VERY solidly built. The PM 2 handled all the abuse I could throw at it, and this seems beefier. This thing so far has cut everything I’ve used it on, and feels very nice in the hand. Seems to naturally fit, more so than the pm2.Based on my first impressions with this blade and the downright incredible performance of my other knifes from them, I have very high hopes this knife will be a worthy replacement of my last, which quickly made itself an indispensable part of my daily life. After I use this thing hard, I’ll edit my review. My pm2 could help me process small trees branches and brush. If this thing can hold up to that, I will me very very happy.Edit:It’s been 6-7 months since I got this Manix 2. I’ve put new scales on it because I wasn’t crazy about the blurple color. The action still feels brand new, and I have used this knife hard. Again, it’s helped me with drywall, clearing things from farm equipment, cut branches and other wood, trim plants in the garden, slice fruit to eat, I’ve started fire with it... you name it. It got a small chip on the very tip but that was easily repaired, and not at all the fault of the knife. Most other knives I’ve used this hard have been destroyed or made unsafe before now, and this one still feels brand new. Happy customer.

Great EDC knife, home run from Spyderco.
Great fit and finish, as with all Spydies. This is honestly, and with no exaggeration, as sharp as my Gillette razor. I love the grind lines on the blade, it adds a lot of character to it. The handle scales are a bit more purple than they look in some of the other reviewer's pictures, but they are my favorite color so far. Absolutely no blade play, love the fully ambidextrous CBBL, love that the liners are skeletonized, smooth action. All around the best knife I own and definitely the best of the 4 Spydercos. It is a tiny bit blade heavy if that is something you are annoyed by, but I dont care. I also own the regular S30V Manix 2, S30V Para Military 2, and Delica 4. I used to hate the look and blade shape of the Manix but after using the regular one I no longer use my PM2 much. It is BARELY behind the manix and I would say it is about a tie because of the blade shape. I would most likely take a S110V PM2 over the S110V Manix though because I do a lot of hunting and it is the perfect blade shape for dressing a deer. Great edge retention and I like the toothy edge.

Beautiful knife. Spyderco perfection.
The blurple S110V Manix 2. Well, what can I say besides Spiderco perfection. There is practically no need to review this knife. Their quality dept is top notch. The knife is as expected from spyderco. Obviously no wiggle, centered when closed. Is a little stiffer action wise than my other 2 Manix. But is not even a concern. At all. Quality wise is through the roof. Hair shaving sharp out of tbe box. Handle ergonomics....i can't say enough about. Really. For my medium sized hands it fits well. Liner jimping, choil, top blade jimping, is awesome. This is one of my favorite EDC knives. Overall size, handle shape, and blade shape make this one one of my favorite knives. Let alone the awesome materials used.

Good knife, rusted quick
The media could not be loaded. Very sharp knife but rusted with first water exposure. Locking mechanism is fantastic and knife itself is ergonomic and fits well in your hand. This also opens easy. Blade thickness is good. Value for money is okay - was able to remove the rust with steel wool

Great Knife
Got a great deal on the Manix 2 with s110v and it's now taken over as my full time EDC. S110v has held it's edge really well with moderate use and hasn't needed a touch up after cutting through many cardboard boxes. The full flat grind is very slicey and it came sharp. Action is really smooth and the detent is perfect. It snaps open and glides closed. I love the locking system and it feels very secure while open. My only very little gripes would be it's a little wide when folded, the grippy g10 can wear down your jeans/pants and the top of the folded knife can catch some lint which can block you from open the blade cleanly. Honestly those gripes are very minor. Thinking about getting a second now as a back up.
