Fleece no good for spark. When I was welding, thick leather was the only item available to use as spark protection.

does it stretch to cover the nose or able to pull down comfortably to expose entire face?

Yes it is pretty comfortable. However if you are bearded, it has to be maneuvered to fit properly. When exposing the entire face it can be pretty tight depending on your face shape.

Does this fleece come in just one size?Will it be too big for a small lady to wear under her helmet?

yes you are correct. but it is very soft. You will like it even if it is little big.
