SwimWays Original Spring Float Pool Lounge - Purist Blue

This is the second set I purchased over several years. The new system to inflate the rafts is a big improvement . I love this mess design because it allows me to get my body in the water.

I bought this to take to our pool to sunbathe on and for the price I cannot even think of something that could be better. Inflation is SO easy by blowing into it. The headrest has its own inflatable spout and it’s just as easy.The mesh bottom is, in my opinion, better than a plastic float or because it allows you to feel the water come through the float and keep you cool. The plastic outer tube has a flexible metal ring in it that makes it easy to get on and off of. It’s the perfect size for me and I am 5’2. Taller women and men will have their feet hang off the bottom. I could not be happier with the quality. I have used it all summer, every weekend.

This float is easy to inflate. (I even did it with my breath on the occasion when I forgot my pump. You notice I said ONE time. I haven't forgotten the pump again.) The raft's floor is made of a nylon mesh, and the only part that requires inflation is the darker blue tube on the perimeter. The mesh allows water to wash over your body, really great on a super hot day. It comes twisted into three layers in a flat bag about 20 inches in diameter. Instructions for twisting it back into thirds are included, but I've never been able to make the necessary maneuvers. My arms are too short! It's very easy to fold into two layers, but obviously you cannot put it back into its original bag that way. I love this raft and would buy it again.

Packed 2 of these in a checked bag for vacation. I noticed a lot of reviewers complaining about them losing air during blow up. The way around that is to push the entire valve back in before you stop blowing. They take very little air so no need for a pump or compressor. One of ours ripped after just a couple days, not sure if it came apart on it’s own or if we scraped it in the lazy river. We liked them enough that we folded them back up and brought them home. They were light for the suitcase, but we did have to pack them diagonally to fit.

Wanted a float thatet me feel the water and didnt hold me flat as a board. I am able to lay on tummy or back comfortably. Note - i am 5-11" and found the length just fine.

Best float I have ever used. I love that I can lay down with my head on the pillow. My head stays dry, but my body is floating in the water so I stay cool. I can lay on the float in the pool for hours, and never get too hot. It seems overwhelming at first, to think about getting the float back in it's bag. But if you follow the directions exactly (hold your hands exactly like the picture), it works and the float just curls up inside itself. AFter a few times of folding it up, it becomes very easy. I have had this float for 3 years, and there are no rips or fading. Holding up great!

I purchased this at the end of the season last year. It has been used for about a month total. This is NOT a plastic float so getting a hole in it within a month is unacceptable. I do not have children and I am 60 years old so I do not abuse it. It was put away for the winter so out of any elements. I would not buy this again and there are other vendors with the same product that is over 1/2 the price of this one. Update: the vendor finally gave me a link that I was able to resolve theough Amazon. Change my rating from a 1 to a 3 sue to that.

The spring float is exactly what we were looking for. We’ve had several of them in the past, but have been unable to find them in local stores. It is easy to fill, and it’s comfortable. We would recommend it.
