Holy cow! I can't believe I didn't know this product existed. Well, I did - it's called a coconut, and my husband and I have opened quite a few over the years, drank the juice and ate the meat (pretty common on the beaches of Mexico)! I was recently at a Meet-Up for folks who follow a ketogenic way of eating and someone asked me if I had tried coconut "manna"...huh?! This demonstrates once again how Amazon is able to distribute a tremendous variety of products from numerous vendors that can arrive to our homes - products that we likely would not have otherwise heard of, nor would we have access to!! Thank you, Amazon!!Folks weren't kidding when they said this coconut butter tastes heavenly (and some mentioned trying a few different brands). At first I thought it was kind of weird to hear people describe its consistency and eating it right out of the jar. I cannot eat butter or coconut oil right out of the package, so why would this be different?! If you are still asking this question, it's because you haven't made the leap to try it!!I looked at many brands and their reviews. This brand may have had fewer reviews, but the reviews were better - and they were right!! Let's be clear - I DID eat this right out of the jar! While I am sure there are other things I can do with it, I am sure I will be content to continue eating it right out of the jar when I have mostly satisfied my carbohydrate and protein goals for the day, and the only thing left is mostly fat (I am not worried about the carbs in this product). I am thrilled to have found this delicious product!

I bought this product to have a sweet healthy treat since I have cut sugar out of my diet. I'm not sure how sweet this tastes to others, but to me and my husband, it's great and does the job! We mix it with almond butter for a fat bomb like treat, spread it as an icing on homemade bars, or simply spoon it out of the jar. When we first get it, it's liquid in form. I immediately open it and stir it around to mix it all up. I do this (as many times as I remember) for the first day or two (usually 2-3 times per day). Then like magic, I wake up and it has turned into this fluffy deliciousness that looks like a cloud in a jar! It's so creamy! If you prefer the liquid, you don't have to do this, but I find the liquid to be a bit gritty for my liking (and the non-liquid stuck to the sides is too hard). If I don't have the patience to wait for it to be fluffy, I just mix it with some almond butter and enjoy. I've had three different brands of coconut butter and have purchased this more than once because of the creaminess. Friends who are trying to find healthy ways to have more fat in their diet have also thanked me for this recommendation. If you're looking for the same thing, this is a great product!

I've tried the Nutiva Coconut Manna (butter) and the Artisana Coconut Butter; this one is by far the best in both consistency and flavor. While you get more for your money with the Nutiva, the taste and consistency don't match up. Even with leaving the Nutiva in hot water and mixing, I still couldn't get it right. The Artisana's flavor is a bit better than Nutiva, though not as good as Gopal's. Texture and consistency is a bit closer though.With nearly all of the Gopal's jars I've purchased the oil and butter separated. Easy fix. One hot water bath for about 15 minutes; mix it up and I've been good to go for entirety of jar. I've been doing the Whole30 and I grab a tablespoon of this when I'm feeling a bit hungry between meals. It's hard not to eat more! And it satisfies my salty/sweet tooth. Higher nutritive value than other coconut butters as well.

This is an interesting product. I really enjoy coconut and thought, as I've recently found new-to-me food allergies with knocked out some of my favorite nut spreads, that this could be a nice replacement. I like the flavor. I cannot seem to find a good way to use this though - we keep it in the refrigerator and we can't seem to get the product to stay mixed (I tried at the beginning of the time we had the product). I find this to be difficult to use. I'm sure it's me and that I'm doing something wrong but I haven't spent the time, I guess, to figure it out.

I did not like this product nearly as much as others. The jar I got was much too watery, i.e. too much oil relative to coconut meat. It may just be the particular bottle I got, but I will likely not buy this again. For me coconut butter needs to be a bit thicker and creamier, not so thin and watery.

I've tried almost all of the brands of coconut butter (manna) Nutiva Manna, Artisana Organics, etc however, Gopal's Raw Organic Coconut Butter is by far the best and contains the highest quality coconut butter I've ever tasted. In the bottle I received the butter wasn't separated. If you've ever purchased coconut butter you know that sometimes the top of the bottle is super soft and about an inch down it's like a rock. I checked the ingredients to see if there was something added to keep it from separating, but there is nothing listed. Gopal's Raw Coconut Butter has an addictive flavor and is incredibly rich and creamy. I'm going to purchase another few bottles this week to see if the constancy is the same as the first bottle. If it's not then I'll update my review to reflect the inconsistency, but I'm hoping I won't be updating this review.

This product tastes HORRIBLE! I've eaten three other jars from other brands of organic coconut butter and this one is BAD. Upon opening, it smelled and looked like everything was fine, including a normal separation of the heavier from the lighter components with a smooth and level top (like it had melted and then hardened while the jar was upright), but when you eat it, there is a petroleum flavor that lingers as an aftertaste. Yuck! It appears too late to return it now since it was delivered on March, 21. I didn't open it until yesterday (April 22) since I was still eating from another jar. Boo. If you buy this, I hope it tastes better than my jar!
