Worked straight away once I'd put batteries in, thank you.
Not sure why my last one had given up the ghost, it was the circle okay button, received this new one the next day and it worked straight away, no having to program it etc, I can now watch watch tv via ariel ( not that I was missing much lol ) and access my usbs for games consoles.

Worked straight out of the box, no pairing needed. Is missing 2 button from my standard remote (google and settings) and I can't seem to access that settings menu any other way, though hasn't been an issue so far. far cheaper than the standard remote with the 2 buttons I mentioned

Better than the original.
This was a replacement for a remote that mysteriously disappeared. As it turned out, our 3 year old was the culprit and after purchasing the replacement, the original one miraculously un-disappeared itself :)Being able to compare the original with this, I found this to be a better controller. It has a more satisfying click to the buttons. If you like you tactile things, you’ll appreciate this remote. Seems like a decent quality replacement.

Genuine Philips remote control
Bought this as a replacement for my broken original. The layout isn’t exactly the same but it works well and is a genuine Philips replacement.

Works right out of the box
The remote that originally came with my 50PUS8545 eventually started eating up batteries in a ridiculous fashion — it would deplete them every other day.Bought this as an alternative, but wasn't sure if it would work with my TV model.It did work, right out of the box. Perfectly. It's not as heavy as the original one, which isn't really a problem. Most importantly, my remote battery issue is no more.

Exactly the same
had to get a replacement remote as the dog chewed mine!! This one is exactly the same and connects to the tv automatically.Definitely recommend
