Ritzy Juniper Heavyweight, Unbleached Wool Blanket - Natural Cream and Brown Abstract, 60 x 80 Inches

This is "Absolutely a Great wool blanket!!!" Beautiful pattern and color.... Juniper style. I've looked for sometime for the perfect wool, thicker blanket and this is it. Perfect softness,size,weight and warmth. Get it. That's all I can say.

I spent weeks researching for a wool blanket. The cheaper ones have reviews saying they shed like crazy. Most of them are not 100% wool either. It was important for me the blanket is 100% wool. Higher end brands are reliable and made well - but they are way over my budget ($270 for a wool blanket is not what I can afford now, even if it's a product that lasts very long, I find this is overpriced because of a brand name). I ordered this on a Thursday evening, and it was at my door on Saturday morning. The blanket is wonderful - soft, you can feel the lanolin on your fingers - it lays flat very nicely and stays in place all night (I use it over a silk comforter that sits in a cotton duvet cover). It's not very heavyweight. If your room is extremely cold or you need it to use outdoors for overnight camping without a heat source, you might need two of those - I am not an expert on wool blankets. But I see this one will serve me very well, will last me a long time. It's also made in Bulgaria, the wool is sourced from Bulgaria - I happen to be Bulgarian and I know that we make high quality blankets, it's a century-long tradition in some mountain regions in our country. I was actually so happy and pleasantly surprised that after an annoying weeks' long research to find the right blanket, I happened to have found one that comes from my home country! Excellent packaging and customer support too. I slept like a baby. Durability is a given with a product that is 100% wool. As long as you don't have moths, don't run it in the washer / dryer like regular sheets or synthetic blankets, this will last forever, literally. I plan on only conditioning it once every couple of years with mild soap and lanolin which I used to do for some wool cloth diapers I used for my baby. Wool is the best! (And silk, of course, and the two marry very well for a great night's sleep - in a cold room, under a warm blanket, not a single drop of sweat all night!)

I own a lot of blankets mostly all wool, and this is the absolute best. it's the softest, warmest blanket I own. The only thing I don't like about this blanket is the label or tag, I think they can do a lot better!!

The media could not be loaded. It's a gorgeous blanket, it is a bit scratchy and it has a bit of natural smell which I tend to like, I took one star because The brown tag on the blanket is garbage material and it's not real leather

I just got stabbed by a needle like piece of metal that was in the fibers of the blanket twice. Stuck right in my skin. It's a bit smaller than I imagined also. It's warm and pretty atleast. Just make sure you double check the material for these dang needle like pieces of metal cause they hurt if you get poked. It also smells like old motor oil or something when you first open it. I hope that goes away when I wash it.

Design pattern was compatible. It was the perfect size for my bed. Large enough to cover my head and feet. Best of all it was fuzzy warm for this 10 degree weather. I might add I couldn’t find this quality, size and material in the half a dozen stores I looked in! It was difficult enough to find on Amazon!

This blanket is just warm enough while not being scratchy, plus the diamond pattern is also there on the white on white parts of the blanket, which was a super nice suprise to see in person
