Honestly I got these to be thinner then your standard impact socket but with the plastic cover on the socket it’s almost as thick I just pop it off to fit the rims I have and it works great. That’s the only reason for 4 stars other than that great kit.

Holding up to professional (daily) use so far

While I cannot attest to longevity yet, I can state the the 100 lb torque limiting extension is very close to 100 lb-ft of torque when compared with a decent quality torque wrench. I used a cordless 1/2" impact wrench and the 100 lb-ft extension with the appropriate socket. Followed up with a presumed good torque wrench and consistently got just a tiny movement from the nut before the wrench indicated 100 lb-ft. Just what I need for lug nuts.The sockets fit well and I appreciate the non-marring sleeve around the socket.I almost did not purchase these due to price compared with other options. I do not know if these are any better than cheaper options that look similar or identical, but these appear to work so far.I'll update the review if something changes.

While we haven’t needed to remove any of our car or boat wheels yet, we found this kit had a socket to fit each of the three different sizes of lug nuts used on our vehicles (Chevrolet, Honda, Hyundai, boat trailer, utility trailer) We feel much better prepared to deal with the inevitable tire repair.

The sockets are nice I will admit for the year I had them they have been awesome. I just now had one crack, the company says they offer (12+6 extraordinary warranty) but after submitting a ticket I was told they can’t warranty because they can’t pinpoint the cause, storage conditions and use. I bought cause the warranty seemed ok but clearly not, I would not recommend to anybody and to just go with something that has warranty like possibly Harbor Freight’s set of thin wall or Matco to not deal with this.
