If you use the min/max function and put it on max amps and the reading you get will be your inrush current reading. Hope this helps.

Q: What is the difference between the cl390 and the cl380 meter?

They are very similar, the CL390 has the additional probe holder on the clamp to assist with one hand operation and a slightly different design layout.
