broken
I unboxed the product and plugged it in and everything seemed fine until I booted up my PC, well actually that was the issue. My PC wouldn't boot, the cpu fan would spin ever so slightly and power off again. It turns out this cable must have been shorting the computer or something (I don't understand a whole lot so could be wrong) but as soon as I unplugged the cable my pc could boot again. I tried multiple other cables now and they work still but that means I have no disk drive until I get a new one. I'm giving 3 stars currently (but would happily give more if my new one works). The product works for others and looks to be exactly what I ordered, I think it's just a faulty cable.

good cable, working in a XFX 850w psu.
i have an XFX 850w semi modular psu and was really struggling to find the correct cables, i read somewhere XFX psu's are the same as seasonic. for 12 quid thought i would give it a do. been working for 2 days now. Lost a star for the connector quality, all work fine but are very stiff to connect and feel cheap but this cable is only 12 quid so cant expect much more.

Very stiff power connector
The power connected to the SSDs is *VERY* stiff and hard to use without being worried of breakage.Sadly these connectors are not common, so although I can't recommend, I didn't really have a choice.

Ok, but not great.
Not great SATA plugs are weak plastic one of mine broke whilst installing. I have installed hundreds of SATA drives (I work in IT) and don’t think it’s great quality.Function wise it works and for the price I guess you can’t expect it to be the greatest of quality. Good but if on a strict budget but be careful with weak connectors.

make sure it works with your psu
I just plugged it in and it fried the cable between my fan hub and the motherboard. I do not know yet if it did more damage to the motherboard and it was 100% my fault for not checking compatability and even reading reviews. Thankfully I chose it for the fans and not my 2 hhds and the ssd.

Works for power supplies advised
Have an old Antec HCP-1200 and could not find the extra cables in came with. Searching for cables this is only one that stated that it will be compatible. Plugged in to power supply and able to power my hard drives.

You NEED to make sure that this cable fits YOUR modular power supply
You NEED to make sure that this cable fits YOUR modular power supply, because it can be plugged into power supplies that are incompatible. If you don't verify, you'll fry your hard drive, as several reviewers have done.I've verified using a multimeter that the 6 pin power output of my power supply was exactly the same as shown in the diagram. I've also compared the new cable to my known working cable, ensuring that each individual cable leads to the exact same position in the line of cables. If you don't have a multimeter, and isn't 100% sure, at least do this before actually powering on your computer using this cable. You should triple check.I have an NZXT H1 chassis, which comes with an NZXT S650 PSU, which is a rebranded SeaSonic FOCUS SGX-650.The cable works for this PSU.The cable has the length I needed, and I've encountered no issues.
