GhirardelliClassic White Premium Baking Chips, 11 OZ Bag (6 Bags)

Awesome for fudge. I used these for a key lime pie fudge, went so far as doing a homemade gram cracker crust with it.OMG. Good stuff. I put on a few pounds eating that. Worth it though lol.

Love GHIRARDELLI white chocolate. Have no problem throwing a handful in the mouth. It all goes down the same pipe.

Product does not melt good for candy. Melts are much better.

Excellent flavor at decent price

I’m ordering these for a third time but I’m confused. I received 12 bags the first time, which is said in the product description, while the product title says 6 bags. In my second order I only received 6 bags. I’m about to order my third so which is it, 6 or 12!? I was quite upset I only received 6 last time.Other than that, I love Ghirardelli chocolate over all chocolate, and I love the baking chips even more!! They made cookies delicious this holiday season, though I’m more prone to eating them right from the bag- I can’t resist! They’re so smooth and the flavor just can’t be matched by anyone else - I always go for the white chocolate chips.

I bake a lot and started using the Ghirardelli Classic White Baking Chips to make my white chocolate & macadamia nut cookies (which are amazing, if I do say so myself) and was really happy with the results. I had tried other brands previously but had a recipe that said to use a quality brand of white chocolate so I started using the Ghirardelli chips and never looked back. Unfortunately, they have gotten so expensive on Amazon (about $7.00 a bag!) so now I have been buying them wherever I find them usually at a supermarket (at about $3.50 a bag) and I get them at a much better price. I don't know why Amazon seems to be raising the prices on quite a few of the products that I really love, but I just buy them elsewhere.

It's not always easy to find Ghirardelli white chocolate chips. I make this tasty mix with it2 bags white chocolate morsels-- Ghirardelli is best3 Tbsp oil1 15oz bag small pretzels1-12oz bag M&Ms4 cups salted peanuts6 cups corn ChexPut Chex, peanuts, M&Ms, and pretzels in large bowl. (Hint: cut a small hole in pretzel bag and shake out the excess salt before adding to bowl).Put chocolate and oil in microwaveable bowl. Microwave 1 minute. Stir. microwave 30 seconds. Stir. If it's not completely melted microwave only 5-10 seconds at a time, stirring each time until smooth. If your microwave is powerful (1000 watts or more) reduce power to 70% (power level 7)Pour melted chocolate over mix, stirring gently with wooden spoon.Spread out on waxed paper to harden.Eat & enjoy!

These are the best tasting white chocolate chips I have ever used. They are not as overly sugary sweet as the others and you can actually taste the cocoa butter. They are wonderful.
