I'm assuming you mean 'lice comb-not live comb'. The answer is no. These are just refills (filters) to the actual vacuum comb.

The V-comb comes with 4 capture filters and you can buy a pack of 8 separately

Q: How long until lice free?

As with any product, you will get out the adults with this. The eggs likely will remain. You will need to keep vacuuming beyond the last egg hatch around day 9. We did daily about 12 days and then every other day to follow-up and check. My daughter has a ton of hair and I was afraid I would miss one although this vacuum makes checking and eliminating them easy. I also did olive oil combing with a metal lice comb several times because I was on a mission. I can't stand the beasts and will ensure they are gone - naturally. Good luck!
