Got this salt while mine was out of stock, now it's become my only salt..
Amazing Salt. To be honest I thought it wasn't going to be at the level of Tropic Marin Pro Reef. I used that salt for almost a year and I saw nothing that's seems amazing, I did see my LPS nose dive. In a 400 gallon 90% SPS losing a bowerbanki and scan I didn't lose a ton of aleep, but I also didn't see a good coloration I would have expected from a $120 Salt. To no avail one day I just decided to try something different and had heard good things about brghtwell Neo Marine, I had used the Amino and there bio brick and was amazed at the results so I took a stab at a salt 35% less with hit or miss reviews.. I'm glad I did. My tank is doing better then ever, my water is impeccable, my levels are consistent and my coral look rediculious with color. I would without any question recommend this to someone with mixed or specific tank up to Acros. This stuff is great, mixes well, no creep and much healthier.. This salt is amazing save yourself 70 bucks and try this stuff. Every tank is different and everybody's system reacts to elements independently but for me this has brought life to my systems and I'm impressed..

Great salt
I've been using this salt for 2 years and it's always consistent never leaves residue in my bin and mixes clear. I pre mix 15 gallons at a time with a heater and strong pump for 2/3 days. Better than reef crystal imo. The smell is slightly offensive at first but that's the chemistry of it and do not not touch with wet hands it gets hot. Also I have a bucket to keep it dry in storage do not leave this salt sitting out.

Best Reef Salt.
Great salt for our tanks. We have 3 saltwater. We switched to Brightwell from Instant Ocean. We prefer this lots better. Only complaint would be that the salt just comes in a plain bucket, not bagged in a bag or anything.Other than that, it shipped on time and wasn’t damaged, dissolves good. This bucket is SUPER heavy so just be aware of that. Lol*Edit - I seen how other people in reviews and questions here were saying that the salt smells or the salt burnt them. Lol!!! Well it does make a chemical reaction when adding to the water. You have no reason at all to have your HANDS in there anyway! That’s just putting germs into your tanks! Lol. Goofs! And the smell…. Yes it does smell. It’s the salt. That’s normal. No need to worry yourselves crazy. Lol.

Great salt great price
Packaged super well! Was delivered wrapped in plastic and then boxed. I had a previous order of a different type of salt and it was just the 5 gallon bucket. I’ve had really good luck with the Brightwell salt, does leave a bit of residue in the bottom of the mixing container, but cleans out really well. All around a really good salt.

Great salt
Great salt. Mixes easy. Fish and corals thriving. Has a bad smell but other than that no residue. I also highly trust this company. Made in the USA and the reason I tried it in the first place. Been in the hobby over 30 years.

Best Salt out there
I love Neo Marine salt. Very Stable always the same results. Have been using it for years. My fish and corals love it. Tank in photo is my newest tank. Finished Cycle about a month ago so a new tank and corals are thriving.

I would not recommend this salt
I wanted to like this salt after the reviews by BRS, however the box I received has been very low in magnesium. I ordered the 150 gal box. The first ~22 gallon batch I mixed to 35 ppt came out to 400 Ca, 7.9 dKH, 1050 Mg. I have been using it up by mixing it 50/50 with IO. I had a bunch of old Mg supplements which has come in handy. Currently mixing about 4 1/4 cups of IO, 4 1/4 NeoMarine, 600 ml BRS Mg, 40 ml Kent Mg, 4 grams Loudwolf Sodium Bisulfate to make ~22 gallons @ 35 ppt sea water with dKH 8.1, Ca 440, Mg 1230. I am most the way through the box of NeoMarine and the measurements have been consistent. So the salt mix I received is very low in Mg, as opposed to the box being stratified (elements not mixed well in the box).Overall the salt has not killed anything thus the 3 stars. But this salt does not meet my desire of mixing batch and using it without needing to test and adjust. It offers no advantage over IO in my experience. I may order another box in a few months and update this review, as every company goes through rough stretches and maybe this order was an aberration.A note on the smell. I have mixed thousands of batches (from many brands) of salt water since 1983, and never thought to notice or care about the smell. However, at least this box of NeoMarine, is notable. Its not an unpleasant odor, I would describe it as being close to the "fresh" sent of kitty litter or the "fresh" smell some kitchen garbage bags use. It is strong and noticeable, not quite overpowering. Very odd.

Good salt for a price
Mixes easy but does leave a residue in my mixing bucket when left overnight. It is better IMO then reef Crystal's but not by much. I had to send the first bucket I received back due to testing super high in alk but hey it's the current trend in salt so whatever I tried it. If you want the best use tropic marin but be ready to pay for it.
