Very good quality, drilled a fair few holes in steel brackets already, which they handled very well indeed. The price is surprisingly low and for the money they do a top quality job without needing to be sharpened every five minutes.

Really durable and sharp drill bits

These rip through steel, which is why I bought them after a YT video recommended them for drilling into thick steel. My cheapo bits just wouldn't even dent certain steel. May as well be drilling with a hole punch, lol.After using at low speed with lots of pressure, was able to get through 8mm steel with the 12mm bit, after making a pilot with the 4mm, switching up to 8mm before going all the way with the 12mm. Tried the 12mm off the bat for another hole and it seemed to take much longer on it's own. I may have blunted it a bit but I was using plenty of oil. Saw bits of smoke trails from shards that were coming off as I was going though, which is always a good sign.Time will tell how long they last, they are not as sharp as they were straight out of the box after a few uses, but then you wouldn't expect them to be at this price. The main thing is they still get through thick steel.Only downside in using pilot holes is that the next size drill bit up seems to not want to sit firm and it wobbles before it makes a new opening, meaning it's hard to follow the centre of the hole if you don't have a drill press. Which I think I seriously need.

I ordered this set as I had previously purchased a masonry drill bit set made by Bosch which was very good quality, and very durable. This set was impressive: 25pc ranging from 1 to 13mm in 0,5mm increments. Supplied in an ABS storage case that fits in the shelf or in a tool box. protecting the bits. The drill bits are sharp out of the box. I haven't used them yet but will have confidence in using them. A value for money set and a huge step up from the cheaper multi bit Chinese sets you can buy which are flimsy and break easily. This review is based on delivery and impressions on receipt, but not on use. As I said, I will have no issues in using them. Seller was quick to dispatch; items were received promptly and with no issue.

AMAZING……never in all my 45 year history using drill bits have l come across such an amazing metal drill bit.One single bit drilled 150 times through 3mm steel section without a problem.I honestly can’t recommend this product highly enough, this bit is by far the best metal drill bit on the market and sold a very reasonable price.

Good range of drill bit sizes. Though for me the bits potentially are brittle on the smaller sizes. I was drilling a 5mm hole in mild steel at about 800RPM, the bit grabbed momentarily and snapped. I have read others report the same thing. This was using a pillar drill and happened as the hole was through to the other side of the material. I had drilled already a 3mm pilot hole.I also drilled some 8mm holes that had pilot holes, and it drilled with no issues even though it again snatched just a completing the hole, that drill bit did not break. These bits are sharp and did a good job in mild steel.For me, i will not be buying this set again. Need something with longevity on the smaller sizes.
