Durable and Warm - Perfect for Cold Weather Walks!
I am so impressed with the Carhartt Firm Duck Insulated Dog Chore Coat! The army green/brass color is stylish and rugged, just like the Carhartt brand. The coat fits my medium-sized dog perfectly, offering a comfortable and snug fit without being too tight. The insulated lining keeps my dog warm during chilly walks, and the durable duck fabric stands up to all kinds of outdoor activities. The quality is top-notch, just like their human gear. My dog stays dry and protected, even in colder weather. It's easy to put on and take off, and the brass accents give it a nice touch of style. Overall, I highly recommend this coat for anyone looking for a durable, functional, and warm coat for their dog!

Amazing quality and fit, absolutely recommend it!
I got the small size for my Jack Russell Terrier. It fits him really well and he looks really good in it. Very easy to put on and take off. Stays in place (my lil guy has been running through bushes with it), quality is really really solid. It is a Chore coat, quilted on the inside. Warm enough by itself for fall, but as the temperature drops, I will have to pair it with some warm fleece on the inside. Have not tested it in a lot of rain, but it is decently water resistant, just like any other waxed cotton jacket. The material is the same as what we would expect in a men's chore coat. The buttons are riveted and are really solid (not flimsy). The stitching is on point and really good. The Velcro is solid and adjustable with plenty of room to accommodate a layer or two of fleece underneath. Absolutely worth buying.

Outstanding dog coat
I have a Carhart jacket and now so do both my dogs. Make sure you measure them. Jackets fit exactly to the size chart. Velcro straps are quality. Pockets for snacks and poo bags. Pockets won't fit a water bottle unless maybe you get a large size. I have a small and medium. You can use with a collar or put a harness over the coat. My dogs stay warm . Worth the money. Quality stitching and materials.

Perfect for my Boxer Barney
This jacket is great for my Boxer. It’s very well made with the same high quality materials used for Carhartt jackets for people. It’s so easy to slip on and take off. It’s easy to clean and has handy pockets for a short leash or bags. Does a great job keeping him dry when it’s raining too. And it doesn’t hinder him from running around like boxers do. Also doesn’t hinder him at all when he needs to relieve himself in any way. Barney and I would honestly recommend this to anyone with a large breed dog in need of a great jacket that does everything it’s supposed to perfectly. Just keep in mind it’s a jacket and not a heavy winter coat. So if your pet needs a heavy coat for an extended time out in the snow you may look for something different. Have a blessed day!

Classic Carhartt
The collar and pockets are stinkin cute. Quilted inside and canvas outer make it decently warm and durable for dogs that like to go deep in the bush. Some things to consider:-There’s no hole to latch a harness through. You could add one in with a sewing machine buttonhole function or just cut a hole and superglue the fabric layers together. Or, just rock the harness on the outside like we did.-if you’re between a medium and a large, pick large. I dug through all the reviews of the mediums on similarly sized dogs (mine is 40lbs and chest 24 inches for reference) and the mediums don’t cover the full back which defeats the purpose, in my opinion. The large fits decently, the straps are a bit loose but stayed on with the harness over it. I plan to add extra Velcro the keep them secure and prevent them getting snagged, but you could also just safety pin them.-The canvas is stiff initially, so the back floated up when he bent over to sniff. This I imagine will soften over time like carhartt coats.Overall awesome, looks adorable and does the job.

Great purchase for pup
Great for cool weather and being seen in the woods. Easy to put on/off and fully adjustable. Dog thinks he is king of the hill when he puts on his vest. Fastens securely with Velcro. Absolutely recommend.

70lb, 2yr old Black Mouth Cur Loves it
Bought a size large and it’s perfect. Not too tight, not too large. The adjustable neck strap is awesome, we were afraid it wouldn’t fit him, as he is a thick necked, wide shouldered pup, but absolutely no issues. Very nice durable material, not too heavy, but will definitely help him retain heat in the brutal Midwest winters. We moved from Florida to Iowa this past January and quickly learned our dog hated any type of clothing! Funny enough, he didn’t even try to nip the coat when we first pulled it out, wish it was that easy back in January when he destroyed 3 puppy hoodies within minutes! Oh well, at least we have this awesome and stylish carhartt now! Bonus points - he gets to match with me on most days!

Sturdy Rugged Doggie Jacket
I got this jacket for my 3 year old corgi, Duke, and couldn’t be more pleased. It’s a Carhartt so the quality is good - heavy/water-resistant canvas, triple stitching, nice insulated quilted liner, thick durable Velcro straps - everything you can usually count on from this brand. On top of that, the size M fit Duke securely and well. It’s very easy to put on and take off. I use a harness and was worried it might not work because there’s no slot on the back, but it works just fine with the lease out of the collar. One important note, it’s not the warmest article of clothing, but Duke’s got a thick double fur coat in Northern California and has never been cold a day in his life, so not a big deal for him. However, the jacket is very effective against light rain or mist and provides good protection for dogs like mine that like root around and chase things through underbrush and brambles. I didn’t think I’d like the collar, but it’s actually quite a nice feature. The pockets are useless, but give it a cool utilitarian vibe and the camo print has an old-school retro vibe. Duke’s gotten compliments every time I’ve taken him out in the jacket. All and all, a good purchase for my little friend.
