Outstanding Umami!
This sauce is seriously amazing, I’m so glad I tried it! It adds so much umami instantly! It’s quickly become an essential staple in my kitchen. It’s sort of like a liquid vegetable bullion with a light soy essence, but without the massive amounts of salt and artificial bullion aftertaste. It does not have an overly fermented soy taste, it’s closer to edamame? It’s a nice clean flavor. It is salty, not as much as pure soy sauce or bullion, but I still use it sparingly like regular soy sauce. It does taste a bit more “raw” as a condiment straight from the bottle, but used with heat or in salad dressings and marinades, it really shines. It’s great sprinkled on stir fry veggies on high heat much like soy, it gets that savory caramelized coating. I add it to rice, dressings, dashi, tofu marinade, it’s incredibly versatile. It’s truly a secret weapon in the kitchen!

Great umami flavor
I love the product, it adds great umami flavor to stir fries and soups. Ir's a little pricey (buy it on sale if you can) but you don't need much. The packaging was disastrous. It was shipped in a plastic bag from Amazon with no padding. The photo is what the box looked like when I opened the bag. The bottle was rolling around loose. Fortunately it's a sturdy bottle and didn't break, but, come on Amazon, do better.

Lovely taste but a Little goes a Long Way !
I love the earthy taste of this, but very little goes a long way as it is a salt product.I mix a small amount into a small cup of hot water and then put drops into various food, like rice, noodles, broccoli.Great taste and the bottle is of very good quality to hang out in your fridge for a long time. The pouring cap works perfectly.

Yummy umami flavor!
I can't thank my brother enough to introducing me to Yondu! It's a nice umami flavor, similar to soy sauce. I love it with dippy eggs and toast. The pour design is wonderful. Also, kudos to whomever designed the label to show a clear block close to the bottom of the bottle so you can tell that you are almost out! The bottle is glass so it has a significant weight to it.

Flavorful with no gluten
Very pleased with the product. A little amount goes a long way and it provides a deep flavor without the gluten. Makes cooking and preparing easier.

Makes everything DELICIOUS
I tried Yondu sauce after a creator, Vegan Bunny Elle, posted a video using it in her vegan recipes. How pleasantly surprised I was that Yondu sauce really enhances the flavor of everything savory. Now, I can’t live without it. This is my third time ordering 2 bottles of Yomdu sauce each order. Also last night, I gave one of my 28 ounce bottles of Yondu sauce to my daughter. I know shes going to love it. Thank you for making such a delicious product😊

I did not taste the "Yondu tranformation" in my food.
I did not find the Yondu a wonder: Neither mixed into food for cooking, nor added as eating.I am not much of a cook, so take that into consideration. But I did find two other sauces that used independently or together? They filled my needs in the very magical way that Yondu is described by others but did not work for me. They are:1. Kikkomen Smooth Soy Sauce2. Kikkomen Noodle Soup Base. (Fish Sauce)I find it ironic that I have chosen two Kikkomen sauces, as I also purchased their Kikkomen Lite Soy Sauce and found it to be absolute garbage. And I'm fairly certain that I am not terribly keen on their regular soy sauce. But these other two sauces? They really do it for me. Very much in the same way that Yondu seems to do it for most everyone else.I found Yondu to be intrinsically lacking a deliciousness profile. And I understand that its character may be one more of invisibility of its own footprint, but to amp up and complete the flavors of everything that it's put with. I did use it more as an "add on" and less of an "added to". Though with eggs it was both, depending on how they were cooked.Based on the other reviews? I feel compelled to give it another run. I have not yet read the recipe book included with the purchase. I will update my. review if I have a better experience.
