Good for Kombucha, but not as good as saving the store bought Kombucha. Great for maple syrup.
These are excellent Kombucha jars, but we found it better to just save our store bought kombucha jars and use those instead.We now use these for the maple syrup we make. They work excellently for that purpose.

Great product
The kit had everything you need to make and bottle kombucha. You need to buy the scoby separately.

Quality products and excellent customer service
One of 6 bottles arrived broken. No fault of the supplier. I contacted the seller and they promptly replied and shipped a replacement bottle and an extra one!

Great Starter Kit for bottles!
These bottles work great for brewing Kombucha. They give your brew a professional look, great quality (no blow ups), and the grommets are good quality.

No metal funnel, bummer!
Bottles work great for what I want and the price seems reasonable, but I didn't shop around. I've ordered several items from Fermentaholics and have generally been pleased. With this order, however, the funnel is collapsable plastic, for which I am greatly disappointed - I am not a fan of plastic and detest it immensely, especially in the kitchen and/or with home brew, etc. I was expecting metal, as has been included previously (thus, only 3 stars). The photo is not current; if it's mentioned in the description, I didn't read carefully.

You should not buy these
At first I was pleased with the bottles but after only a few months of careful use, several of the fasteners on the lid have bent and now I can’t ever be sure they sealed properly as it will often just bend and open back up. I’ve thrown away 2 of the 6 because the metal on the stoppers won’t seal and tonight I tossed a third after the entire glass neck broke when I flipped open the bottle.
