I have never written a review before on amazon (at least I think), but this HDMI converter was so impressive that it's worth leaving one for.Works seamlessly on a modern PC monitor and outputs amazing audio and video with no noticeable input delay.I've used AV converters before that cost twice as much and leave noise and artefacts, but this is truly as close as you'll get to perfection without using a HDMI mod on the Dreamcast console.A solid 10/10 for me, I'm definitely looking into buying the same brand for my original Xbox also.

Works as described and lets me play Dreamcast on a new tvs since they only come with hdmi now

This is a well made product, designed to actually just work. I didn't want to mess around trying to get a dodgy cable to work with a Dreamcast and this seemed like it would do the job. It certainly did. It really is just plug and play and takes the uncertainty out of whether you have a dud Dreamcast or not. Picture and sound quality is good. Happy with my purchase.

Really good product. Easy to use. The only reason I haven't given a 5 star is because the connection to the dreamcast is a little shoddy. The plastic casing around the connector isn't the best quality and is very loose. It still works to a very high standard though so I am happy with the product

This is a very good product as far as plug & play goes. I'm running it through my old 32 inch sony bravia tv & my favourite Dreamcast games are getting played much more now compared to my CRT TV. There are less than 20 minor games that don't work through this, but my faves - VF3, Speed Devils, Incoming, Daytona 2001, Shadowman, Sega Rally 2, Soul Calibur, plus loads of others, are now looking very sharp indeed. Speed Devils is a very good example, & Metropolis Street Racer as well, as these two looked rather fuzzy & blurry on the CRT, which is what they were destined to be played on. They now look really great thanks to this HDMI converter. If you go into dark areas such as in Shadowman, you can see the feint vertical lines present, but they don't show up in normally lit areas. In other words, well done Kaico, for making this simple plug & play device. Highly recommended & at a very reasonable price. 😁👍🎮

It works but not as good as the other kaico adapter to HDMI that is out there (I managed to get a used adapter from ebay for the other)The item i am writing a review on has a switch on the back of the converter, you can switch settings to match tv, the review was done on an LG QNED mini LED which i bought last year,I found the RGB setting very blockie and maybe too sharp to look good, and the VGA setting had a lot of interference, you could see diagonal lines moving around the screen (not sure if the adapter is faulty or just does not work as it should on my tv)The other converter bought from ebay has a cable which fits into the back of the Display port and the box is further away from the console which is maybe a good thing as when tested i could see no signs of the diagonal interference on screen, there are no switches on this model, just plug and play,So after testing found the small metal version is the better purchase if you are able to find one on the internet, that's my review though and other people may have had a better experience, but for me metal is better.

Playing the Dreamcast is so much fun but getting it setup was always a pain with modern TV's. In particular if you wanted to stream to Twitch.Anyway, I have been using this Adapter for a few days now and absolutely love it. Plug into the back of the Dreamcast and HDMI cable to the TV, it's that simple. I'm sure there are others who can give more details on the technical side but as a regular gamer I am very happy with this purchase and easily recommend.
