I bought the XL gloves size. The gloves are very soft. The XL size is larger than my hands but some of the reviews said that they shrink after washing them in hot water and drying them in the dryer. I washed one pair in WARM water and one pair in hot water and air dried them on a clean towel. The ones washed in hot water shrunk a bit and the ones in a warmer water remain almost the same. If you air dry them - they will remain mostly the same size. I use baby oils on my hands at night and in the morning my hands will very soft and moisturized. Highly recommend these soft gloves.

I purchased these gloves to wear on one hand while I heal from an injury to the back of that hand. I need to apply topical medication before I go to sleep, and I can't cover the area with a bandage. These gloves are a perfect solution to protect the area, and my bed sheets, while I sleep. They are soft and breathable with a little elastic at the wrist. I ordered a size up in case the gloves shrink after washing due to their 100% cotton content. I will come back and update this review if they don't hold up after machine washing.

I ordered these in a size medium as my hands barely measure 8" even including my nails. According to the measurements on Amazon these should fit but they're not even close. Especially after washing/shrinkage. Luckily I was still able to return them. I saw reviews saying to go up 2 sizes and sure enough, the xl fit perfectly. But I'm a woman and my hands are maybe a little larger than average but I'd never guess I'd need an XL. I wish I'd have listened to the reviews the 1st time around! But now that I have the correct size, these work great for keeping the creams/ointments on my hands and off the sheets.I'll upload pics of the measurements of both gloves. The medium is under 7 inches base to tip! And the XL measures about 9 3/8" all measured after washing and tumble dried. Hope this helps

I love these gloves. I medicate my hands and put these gloves on when I go to sleep. Fit is great for my larger hands.

UPDATE 1/5/24: After posting the below review regarding the issues with the seams coming undone on the fingers of the gloves, the company reached out to me and sent me a new box of gloves. They were polite and kind and I appreciated the new box being sent as I can now replace the other gloves that had the issues. I hope that the seam problem will also be rectified for others who buy these gloves. I raised my review from two stars to three stars based on their customer service. I have not yet tried the new box of gloves, so I cannot say if the actual issue with the gloves has been rectified, but their willingness to send a new box was a plus for me. Maybe I just got two bad boxes originally...? We shall see.I have purchased these white cotton gloves twice now. The first time, I had a couple of gloves that the seams came undone and my thumbs and index fingers were exposed after wearing them a few times. I wasn't happy, but the rest of the gloves worked out fine in the long run. With my most recent order though, (December 2023), one of the thumbs came completely unstitched within hours of wearing. And I was asleep, so not doing anything strenuous! The same thing happened to another pair I was wearing for the first time yesterday. Same issue. Thumb came unstitched after wearing for a few minutes. It's as if the end of the seam wasn't knotted to keep the thread from unraveling. I really hate that this is happening because I love the gloves otherwise and would give them five starts if not for the seams opening up and exposing my thumbs and fingers. It's ridiculous to spend money on something and then have to sew it yourself. I have Dyshidrotic Eczema and have to wear white cotton gloves for several hours after applying my meds and lotion, and I sleep in them as well. They work wonderfully and are soft cotton, but what's the point if they come unstitched and your fingers are exposed? They're no longer gloves at that point. I wish I could contact the company about it. Hopefully they will read this and it will make a difference.

These gloves are a good thickness and fit as expected. They work well for lotion gloves or protecting hands during light work.
