I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this assortment of leather samples! What a fantastic variety and quality! I could not believe the very nice samples I got! I will order these again and again! Very easy to work with and to make beautiful jewelry! I can't say enough about how excited I was to get these! Got them fast and was so SO delighted! I can make a zillion jewelry items, as the samples are a nice size, and even a couple that were smaller have PLENTY of leather to make things with! One of my FAVORITE all-time Amazon purchases! You will LOVE these!

Large scraps with good quality!

The smell is a little funky--'leathery' I don't understand it--but put outside on a perforated metal table in the sun. Funk better already. Used a piece just now as a liner for a holster, perfect thickness. Happy with this purchase. A couple are oddball pieces, but the rest I can certainly use; in fact, waited forever for one piece like these from China, for the same $$.

I used this for coasters, and it is perfect; I managed to get 4 out of most pf the pieces and there was a lot of variety. The leather is high novelty but too thick and stiff to sew, so is better used for things like key ring tabs, book marks etc. It is quite soft, but not very malleable

So I almost never write reviews so I feel pretty strongly about this. First of all the positive: wide selection of colors(mostly snakeprint though) and would have definitely been well worth the money if not for the negative. So I read multiple reviews about an odor associated with the materials, I shrugged it off. I wouldn't advise ignoring this fact. There is an obvious strong mildew smell, I have had them airing on my porch swing for a week and it is STILL noticeable. I would definitely think twice depending on your intended use.

Was impressed with the cuts. The embossing, leather quality and colors were great for the price paid. And for cricut users the vendor actually lists the thickness of the leather so you know which cut to use immediately. No guessing. I loved that detail.

The leather that I received is as pictured but it smells so bad of mold that it is unusable. Multiple people in the office are having allergy flare ups due to it being delivered to my work. Unfortunately the leather is unusable due to the overpowering smell of mold and mildew. This product never should have been shipped out in this condition. I am very disappointed. I have tried multiple things to get the smell out but it is still overpowering.

I typically buy my leather from a retailer and pay considerably more for it. When I saw this, I figured I wouldn’t be out much if it wasn’t as presented. The pieces are a good size for me (I make earrings), the variety was acceptable, not as shown, but usable, but the mildew smell is STRONG!!!! I currently have it in the No heat/air dry cycle in my dryer, with two fabric softeners. Tomorrow I’ll try baking soda. But if I can’t remove the odor, the leather will not be able to be used. I’m not sure what it could be used for, smelling as strong as it does. My husband says it reminds him of being in an old library. Not something I can offer my customers.All of the pieces were snake print. Very muted tones. But again, for the price it is a good deal….. as long as I can get the smell out. Be mindful of the efforts you’ll have to take to do the same.I won’t buy again.

As mentioned it definitely smells.I received exactly 10 pieces, under the average and I think under 1.5-2 pounds. One duplicate pattern, so really 9 different. One is very fractured and the smallest of piece quite useless. Disappointed in the weight/ variety of the pack , the options, and overall wouldn't buy again.
