Brio? More like Bri-NO. Let me tell you, as a parent in a middle-class family, in a country where "an old woman has to put back the refrigerated apple because it is just too expensive", name brand and more expensive products are not always better. Sometimes, and I mean SOMETIMES, a simple product can be just as good even if it comes in a box with a different name. THESE TRACKS! So far, they seem literally the same as the more expensive, name brand ones. If you want to save some money and also have a house full of train track (said no parent ever), then these are perfect!

I bought this on Prime Day at a discount so it was a great deal but I can't say it is great quality. I had read some reviews that made me worry it wouldn't fit with my Brio set but it did. I looked over a couple pieces of track and they looked fine so I let the kids go at it. They loved having so much track to be able to each build their own track and still have plenty leftover. But it wasn't too long before one of them came crying because the track gave him a splinter. That was disappointing to say the least. On closer inspection I could see that there were many pieces that were rough. Not wanting to return the set, I spent a couple hours hand sanding all the pieces. They played with them again today and didn't have any problems this time. So while I feel like the consumer shouldn't have to fix toys upon arrival, it was worth it to me to sand them down myself so the kids could play safely. If they had been sanded better by the makers they would have had 5 stars from me.

All pieces are good and useable. Nothing broken or unusable.
