Precision Pet Products Two Door Great Crate Wire Dog Crate, 42 Inch, For Pets 70-90 lbs, With 5-Point Locking System

This is my second crate from this brand. I purchased the first one 15 years ago and it is still in great condition. I needed something larger for our new growing puppy and I decided to stick with this brand because the old one has held up so well. I really like that they upgraded to the 5-point locking system on the doors. My old dog could open the old version by clawing at it repeatedly, I had to purchase a clip to keep her in. This new feature will prevent that from happening and is easy to use. The cage is sturdy just like the older version. Love that it folds up for storage and travel. Puppy is loving the extra space.

Nice to have the extra lift of the door needed to open them. It's very slight, but just a little extra layer of protection versus a door that only closes with the slide pin. Easy to set up and collapse if needed, while still feeling very sturdy for my super strong 60 lb dog. Having a door on the front and side of the crate makes it much more flexible when deciding where to put it in the house.

We think it's the best on the market. Good price. Sturdy. Easy to open and close. We have had it for 18 months ... as long as we have had our golden doodle. He's about 60 lbs now. I would say, size wise, close to the interior limit. That's OK, though, because his growth has slowed. Highly recommended.

I use this kennel for my Doodle. She is long legged and about 43 pounds. This kennel is big enough for her to stand up and turn around. She can lay comfortably and the side door makes it easy to place in our living room. The tray slides out easy and is easy to keep clean. The divider that comes with the kennel is a little challenging to get in and secure but it’s doable. We used the divider at first housebreaking and it helped to make her space a little smaller while she was learning. The doors pull up and out to open and up and in to close. There are bent half loops that rest inside and around a wire to help secure the door better. I love this feature. We have not had any escapes from this kennel. There is a handle on top to help move this kennel around. It is rather large, but collapses if you need to store it. We have had this kernel for some time now and it has been a great buy! I would not rate this kennel as a travel kennel, it’s more for home. If you do travel with it, it would likely fit in the back of an SUV, but have never tested this theory. I highly recommend this kennel to any dog owner.

This kennel is nice and sturdy. It unfolds and sets up easily in about 3 minutes and collapses back to where it can easily be carried with the handle that is included. The reason I gave four 4 stars is that it's a little too large to fit in some vehicles, but that's if you travel with your pet a lot. Other than that, it's great for crate-training and has plenty of room.

Well made. Easy to operate doors. Especially like the lift-to-open feature on the doors that works like a semi-secure closure. Ordered a second one based on the quality and performance.

I purchased the large (42") 2-door for our golden retriever puppy. I was looking for a crate that closed securely with no gaps at the doors and this one boasted a 5-point locking system. Really impressed with this. It closes easily and securely by slightly lifting the door and sliding the closure into place. It's a solid, heavier crate, and I have no doubt it will hold up well as our puppy grows.This one comes with a divider which keeps her space small and grows as she grows. Divider goes in ok — not the easiest but eventually it goes into place. Because we're still using the divider, we haven't used the side door yet but i do like the option for future flexibility. The puppy loves it! She goes right in and settles down for the night or just when she's tired.This crate is sturdy, and it's not the easiest thing to move around the house. Folds down pretty easily but the large crate is heavy so moving it upstairs can be cumbersome. But it can be done….and that wasn't the most important feature in choosing a long-term crate for our dog.You'll have a crate for a long time, perhaps the life time of your dog so it's worth finding one that is strong and well built and this one certainly fits the bill. 5 stars for me!
