Autoglym Polar Wash, 2.5L - Snow Foam Car Shampoo Safe for Wheels, Paint & Trim

Excellent product. Went into this a complete novice and in combination with the AVA premium snow foam cannon which in terms of workflow is a new experience for me.The foam was thick and broke down the dirt well. Shampoo was not as thick but didn't fall off super fast, giving plenty of time to wash/rinse. The fun part was the sealant which beaded up almost immediately. Once dried the whole car looked clean, shiny and all with minimal effort.

The Autoglym Polar Blast (2.5L) is an outstanding snow foam pre-wash that has completely transformed my car cleaning routine. The foam it produces is incredibly thick, clinging to the surface and lifting dirt and grime with ease. It provides a great pre-wash that makes the actual washing process much smoother and more efficient.What I love most is that it’s pH neutral, making it safe for my car’s paintwork and any wax or sealant layers I’ve applied. I purchased a kit to wash our ceramic coated car. The foam is very thick and it smells really nice and fresh. Cleaning effect is great, just make sure sun doesn't dry the foam on the car and prepare it as per the instructions. Only disadvantage is the price which is a bit high and content of the 3 bottles isn't used evenly, leaving you with some one bottle 1/3 empty, one 1/2 and another one about 1/4 empty after three washes. I would consider buying more if it's cheaper or on sale.

I’ve been using the Karcher snow foam lance for the past 5 years which was OK but not great. I always wash my own cars so decided to upgrade to the AutoGlym PolarBlast after watching some reviews on YouTube. It’s a great product - a bit bigger than I expected, feels high quality and worth the money. It fitted perfectly to my Karcher K4 pressure washer. I used it with the AutoGlym PolarBlast snow foam product. It creates a good foam with plenty of adjustment to get the right thickness. Have used it a few times now and it continues to impress me. Would recommend if you like detailing your car.

The quality of this foam is excellent, it makes my car shine and works excellently at removing dirt. It doesn't leave marks even after it's been on the car for a while and it sprays out of the cannon really well, allowing me to cover the whole car in one or two minutes. Overall it is all that I want out of a snow foam/wash.

Tried a few alternatives. Finally gave this a go knowing the auto glym stuff is good but often quite dear.This one is a bit of an exception. Don’t need allot for good foam. 100ml of this and 500ml warm water makes a good thick foam. Previous stuff I was using was cheaper but more like 400ml solution and 600ml water and it wasn’t half as good.Pleased I game this one a go.Warning. It hangs around on the drive a while afterwards. Needs to be washed away as will be there a few hours!

This is a very good product, easy to apply through a pressure washer and then rinse/dry. Leaves a very shiny surface that lasts for about a month on its own. I apply a wax over the top. Makes it easy to wash the car next time.

For 20 plus years, I've been a hose/power wash with a bucket and sponge type cleaner so I thought I'd give this Polar wash a go to see if it would be better or quicker. Up to now I used the same process, rinse with water to loosen dirt, wash roof and windscreen first, rinse, wash side or car, rinse, front of car, rinse and so on. This I find stops it streaking.I have a small car (Citroen DS3) so thought this stuff will last me ages as it only needs 250ml per wash. I ended up using 750ml as the initial 250ml only lasted the roof, rear and half of one side. This may have been me as you probably need to adjust the power on your power wash.Now the car was covered in a snowy foam so the next step is to "agitate" with a sponge. This basically means "clean" with a sponge, you know, like you would normally do, just with out fancy words. The problem with the foam covering the car is it starts to dry (warm day, but not in direct sunlight) so you have to "agitate" quickly. You can see it shifting the dirt as the foam goes a little dirty as you'd expect. However, in the time that has passed between agitating the dirt and then rinsing, the car is drying so much that the dirty foam now appears as dirty streaks. This means when you are rinsing, you have to give another quick wipe with the sponge to agitate the dirt again.Once rinsed, it's time to get the chamois out, except when you start, you realise that the foam has gotten into all the nooks and the rinsing hasn't cleared it all so you need to rinse again.The finish was nice but can't say it was any better than normal run of the mill car wash liquid. It took me a lot longer since having to foam cover the car is an extra step I've never needed to do before then having to double agitate and then rinse for longer.I'll use the rest of it rather than let it go to waste, and maybe I'll be quicker next time, but it's put me off buying the full set.If you're still awake after reading this and think I'm rambling nonsense, then just make sure your power wash lance is adjustable.
