Had to use this to reattach my CPU after years of it just slowly cooking off the preexisting goo. It spread super easily and came with a LOT more than I really needed in the tube. I hope it doesn't dry up before I need it again, because there was a lot. I got this back in June of 2022 and my CPU has been running with no hiccups (outside of the norm, since my parts are old lol). Dust and thermal performance wise, it does really well. My PC seems to be functioning just fine and not overheating. Doesn't have a negative impact on functionality, including speed. Honestly super happy with this product.

Great product that gives great performance, it's a good amount of paste that you can use, it spreads everywhere easily meaning you don't need to apply much paste. Honestly an amazing price for a good quality paste that does it's job.

I recently used Arctic MX-4 to repaste my Alienware m16 R2, and overall, I’m satisfied with the results. The application process was smooth — the paste spreads easily and doesn’t require much pressure, which made it user-friendly for a clean install on both the CPU and GPU dies.Performance-wise, I saw an immediate improvement in idle and load temps. Before the repaste, I was seeing idle temps around the high 50s to low 60s (in a warm room), and under load, temps would spike past 90°C pretty quickly. After applying MX-4, idle temps dropped to the mid 40s to low 50s depending on the fan profile, and load temps during gaming and light stress tests stabilized in the 80–85°C range with a few peaks under extreme loads, but nothing alarming.Fan noise also improved slightly due to reduced thermal load. It’s not a miracle paste, but for a non-conductive and affordable option, MX-4 holds its own. It’s especially ideal for users repasting a laptop like the m16 R2 where you want thermal reliability without risking electrical conductivity near VRMs or other tight board layouts.Final verdict: Arctic MX-4 is a solid choice for the Alienware m16 R2. Used it to install a new heat sink assembly for my gaming laptop. ARCTIC MX-4 is much better than the stock thermal pads at keeping my GPU cool. Very good product for the price. The tube has way more than I needed. It comes out of the syringe at just the right thickness - not too runny or too pasty. The thermal conductivity is really good and keeps my RTX 4070 nice and cool, even in demanding games.
