This pen is great for itchy spots like mosquito bites etc. However, my next door neighbor child seems to have an affinity for bee/wasp stings. He started screaming the first time it happened and I ran over to see what was going on. He had been stung by something and the whole scene became pretty dramatic. His mom didn’t have products on hand as this was a first time experience. I ran home and got the pen and sone oral Benadryl. We treated him quickly and he settled in about 15 minutes. He subsequently has been stung several more times and with the pen and Benadryl I gifted her, she is on it. Thank you Benadryl for the brilliant idea. Side note- for a true allergic reaction (anaphylaxis), Benadryl is given orally along with epipen etc.,a whole different level of treatment. But for skin stuff, this can be a big asset.
